HOW YOU GET THE GIRL EPILOGUE;

age: 27

I chased frantically around the apartment after Olive. who knew a 3 year old could be so hyperactive? she hid behind the sofa, the giggling gave her away.

⠀"Olive, come on out!" I called, "you need a bath, sweetie."

I snuck around the other side of the sofa, sneaking up behind her.

⠀"boo!" I said, scooping her up into my arms and tickling her.

⠀"mommy!" she laughed hysterically as I tickled her more. "mommy, stop!"

⠀"not until you have a bath, little miss!" I warned playfully, pulling a mock serious face and pointing my finger at her. I let her down slowly and followed her as she made her own way into the bathroom.

Olive looked so much like Ashton that it hurt even more when he was away, because she was a constant reminder of him. her hair was curly and golden, and her nose was speckled with light brown freckles. she was always smiling, I was surprised her face hadn't started aching.

I heard a splash, and saw Olive climb into the warm water. she splashed around joyfully, and I passed her a rubber duck to play with. she swam it around the sink as if it were real, making duck noises and sound effects with her own mouth.

Cassie: u should see Olive right now Ash, I finally got her in the bath and she looks adorable x

Ash💍: FaceTime? x

I FaceTimed Ashton and he picked up immediately, a replica grin of Olive's smile on his own face.

"let me see our beautiful little girl?" he said.

I turned the camera round and showed Olive the screen.

⠀"Olive, say hi to daddy!" (AN: if anyone makes any daddy kink jokes I stfg)

her head flew up and she clapped her hands excitedly. "daddy!"

⠀"hey, baby girl!" Ashton said gleefully. "you having fun?"

⠀"I miss you," she pouted and almost splashed water over my phone. I turned the phone back around.

⠀"I'm so proud of you, always taking care of her so well on your own. I wish I could be there." he sighed.

⠀"hurry back soon, okay, Ash? I know it's only been 2 weeks but I miss you like hell."

⠀"course, babe. also, please don't get too stressed about the wedding, we'll probably organize it when I'm home in March, okay? we don't even need to organize anything big. I just want to make you officially mine, something I should've done before Olive was born."

⠀"I love you so much," I said, almost tearing up. "Ash, I've got some good news." I took a deep breath, looking into his eyes through the screen.

⠀"yes, Cas?"

⠀"I'm pregnant again."
