Third person

Rowan sighed, "I'm so tired.." she mumbled, wiping her eyes tiredly "once we know what happened to Peyton then I'm gonna go back to her house and get her some things so that she has stuff to do..you should go home and rest" Ceci advised

She nodded "okay yea..I'll go once she's up.." she agreed. It had been about an hour and a half since Sabrina had fell back asleep, the doctor only now coming back to her room

"Oh she's asleep..I'll come back later.." he mumbled with a small smile "I'm awake.." Sabrina whispered in response, delicately opening her eyes to look at the doctor in front of her

"What happened? I..is he.." she trailed off. "Miss Carpenter..His heart flatlined" the doctor stayed simply. Amirs head fell to his hands while sabrina stared to the doctor teary eyed

"We managed to use the defibrillator to get his heart beating again..his heart is actually beating more regularly now..around 50 beats a minute which is definitely an improvement from 30" he explained. The girl nodded, "but?" She asked

"But he still hasn't woken up. General anaesthetic doesn't last that long, if he was responding he'd be feeling pain, therefore he'd be awake. He is currently in prolonged coma after general anaesthesia. Think of it as a huge unresponsive sleep, as his heart speeds up and his vitals begin returning to normal we should be able to get a clearer idea of when he's going to wake up..but for now, a coma is his current state" he sighed

"So is he still next door? can you bring him in so we can at least be in the same room?" She begged. "Mr Meyer is in the ICU, we can keep a closer eye on him and his situation there. With the way you are healing you should be discharged within the week, then you can see him as a visitor during visitation hours once he returns to the normal rooms" he stated

"Please, we ask you don't share his state around the media as we are uncertain of when it will change, negatively or positively. We advise his state stays between us" he added "and If there's anything we can get you, just press the button" he pointed beside the bed before disappearing

She sighed, settling back down in her bed "you can go..I'm a little tired.." she yawned, looking around her friends "are you sure, sab? We think we should stay" Corey replied

She shook her head, "I'm gonna try go back to sleep..you guys should go get some rest too..I'll get someone to call you if I need.." she insisted. Rowan stood up from her chair "I love you and I'm sorry but my eyes are about to swell shut..I'll be back for when you wake up" she meant down, giving her best friend a hug

Sabrina nodded. Saying goodbye to Amir and corey too "I'll bring you a new phone and your laptop for when you wake up..then you have something to do" Ceci smiled for her

"Thank you.." Sabrina replied with a small smile, watching as they all left the room. She sighed as she lent back in silence, her eyes drifting to the window as they grew heavier
