Third person

"You look beautiful!" Rowan squealed as Sabrina and Ceci approaches them by their seats "you look beautiful too" Sabrina smiled back, taking a seat beside her

"How was the carpet?" Corey asked curiously. The blonde shrugged, "it was okay, I'm sure I'll get slammed by tonight for fake smiling or showing up to an event while my boyfriends in a coma but that's cool" I say sarcastically, leaning back in the seat

"The media lies, only people who know you and Peyton personally should be who effects your feelings about being here or not, and we all say you should be here" Rowan replied. Sabrina nodded, turning to look at the empty stage in front of her

The show soon started, a few performances, speeches and awards later, it was her turn. "Okay you need to go and change..your up in a few minutes.." Ceci whispered about halfway into the show. Sabrina nodded, following the people who took her back stage, leaving Rowan and Corey in their seats to watch

She made it backstage, changing into the dark blue dress and shoes before heading to the trap door underneath the stage, the stage lifting up to a pitch black arena

The stage was dark, no lights were on it to prevent people from seeing Sabrina already on it, instead a few spotlights shone to a small stage to the left of the arena where two presenters stood

"This next performance is one that I've been looking forward to all night. No matter what's going on in this girls life, her music never fails to impress" one of them smiled "and upon very popular request, this is her new unreleased song, 'when I look at you'" the other added

"Give it up for Sabrina Carpenter!" They called together. The lights dimmed on the presenters, the mane stage lights beaming down onto the blonde who stood centre stage, the band behind her playing a few notes to the song as fans cheered in front of her

"Everybody needs inspiration..Everybody needs a song, A beautiful melody, When the night's so long..Cause there is no guarantee, That this life is easy. Yeah, when my world is falling apart, When there's no light to break up the dark, That's when I, I..I look at you.." she sang sweetly

She stood still on the stage the whole song, her heart beating in her chest as she tried her hardest to tell herself not to cry. She continued singing the song until it began to slow down, singing the last chorus,

"You appear just like a dream to me, Just like Kaleidoscope colors that, Cover me, all I need, Every breath that I breathe. Don't you know you're beautiful?.." she sang, hitting the high note

The band behind her played for a few seconds as she didn't sing during this part, the fans began cheering and screaming as she stood on the stage, her eyes focused forward as the guitarist played behind her

She smiled, "When the waves are flooding the shore and I can't find my way home anymore, That's when I, I, I look at you...when I look at you... and you appear just like a dream..to me.." she sang the last note, a pair of strong arms wrapping tightly around her frame, her body jumping from surprise

Her eyes shot open, swiftly turning to see who had come up and hugged her. Her eyes landed on Peyton, dressed in a white button up with navy trousers to match her dress and the fancy pointy shoes

He held a guitar in his hand that wasn't broken, passing it to someone, his eyes returning back to hers in one swift motion. As it kicked in that he was right in front of her, tears left her eyes instantly spilling down her face, her body shaking from sobs as he pulled her into another tight hug, sending the crowd wild

He held her closely in his arms, his cologne drifting over to her, Sabrinas small body relaxing in his embrace. She listened to his slow and steady heartbeat in his chest before she felt them sink below the stage, the trap door returning below..
