'She is going to kill them!'

You felt someone shaking you lightly.

"Hey, wake up"
You finally stirred awake and looked up into the eyes of your best friend.

"Awhat?" You mumbled, still half asleep.

"You were crying in your sleep again"
You rubbed your eyes and true enough, they were wet.

"Sorry, I didn't meant to wake you" You mumbled, drying your eyes. She just gave you an understanding smile.

"You didn't, I was already awake" Minna sat beside the sack on the ground you called your bed. You could hear the sound of the forest through the thin cloth you tent was made of, calming you a little.

"Been up all night thinking again?" You asked her as you sat up too.

"Yeah..."
She simply said, leaving it at that. She have always been like this. She have been there for as long as you could remember, always taking care of you. You didn't know why and she always got really dodgy whenever you asked, so you decided to stop asking about it.
You had long been travelling with group of entertainers that did odd jobs at festivals and parties. You had been in almost every city imaginable. From Novigrad to Beauclair. Your job was to 'amaze the people with your extraordinary control of the wild' as the ringleader said. It basically meant to make flowers bloom and trees bear fruits in an instant.
It never seized to capture the audience's attention, but it had also sometimes got witch hunters chasing after you. That was always fun...

"Do you know the village we are headed to next?" She suddenly said, breaking your trail of thoughts.

"I haven't really heard much. Only that there is a flowerfestival of sorts and we are supposed to help with the music" You answered, grabbing the water pouch you always had beside you as you slept. You were parched.
"Why?"

"I'm just wondering..." She trailed off again. You put your hand on her shoulder.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah. Just remember to stick with me all the time we are there, okay?" She put her hand on the one you had on your shoulder and gave you a little smile. Something was up.

"It is a flower festival, of course she is going to perform!"

"But it would put her in danger!"

You heard shouting from outside your shared tent. You ducked your head out.

"Something wrong?" You popped your head out of the opening to see your friend and the ringleader arguing.

"Nothing is wrong. Sorry that we woke you" The ringleader told you and left while sending a glare at Minna.
She sighed.

"Let's get the tent packed. We leave as soon as possible" She said. You left it at that.

"Here" She suddenly said, handing you a hooded cloak.
"Please wear this when we are in that village. For my sake?" She asked when you hesitated to take it. You complied, putting it over your normal clothes and pulling the hood up. She gave you another little smile.

It didn't take long to arrive at the little town, it was not that far away from where you had set up camp.
Already a little away you could see the brightly decorated town. The was flowers everywhere and people ran around while happily chatting.
As your group entered town, you felt your arm being grasped tightly.
