I got on the train and so did alien boy. He tried to talk to me but I just ignored him. When I got off I ran to my hotel room and yet again alien boy followed. After I got to my room I shut the door on his face.
"Madison can we talk about what happened back there? Please!" Alien boy begged.
"Go away!"
"Why are you pushing me away again? I'm not leaving until we talk about what happened back there." After a few minutes of silence he speaks again.
"Let's start over okay? Hello I'm Hayden Bails."
I got up and open the door.
"Hi I'm Madison Banks." I said as I walked back to my bed.
"Can I ask a question how long has this hotel been here because I for sure didn't see it until you ran here. I definitely need to get me one before all the rooms are taken." He said smiling.
"I think all the rooms got rented. If so I guess you can crash here."
"So Madison. That's such a pretty name."
"Thanks." I said smiling.
"Why didn't you tell me your dad was Mr. Banks, I mean if I get that role I'm pretty sure I would see you a lot? And I would end up finding out your name? I mean you must go to the studio a lot to watch. Don't you?"
"Why would I tell you who my dad is. If I had told you, you probably just beg me to have my dad get you that role. That's what a lot of people do. That's why I don't have many friends. And if you got the role you would find out eventually so I could just have leave you in suspense." I said shrugging my shoulders.
"That's why you pushed me away, because you thought that if I found out who you were, that I would beg for that role. I have dignity Madison and I have a lot more opportunities then this romance movie. I'm just saying." He said sitting beside me.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover huh?" I comment as I started to laugh.
"Yeah but I did the same. So I'm sorry."
As we hug each other for about a few minutes I get a phone call from my dad.
"Hey honey. I'm just checking up on you. how's everything."
"I'm good dad. And everything's great I saw Jackson and his wife. The have two kids and another on the way. And I also met someone a new friend."
"Oh really what's her name?"
"His name is Hayden Bails."
"His name? He's a boy?"
"Yes dad. Well I have to go my phone is about to die."
"Alright stay safe. Please." My dad said as he hung up.
I look over to Hayden and grab his hand.
"Where are we going?" Hayden asked.
"We're going to find Emily and make sure she's okay." I said as we left the hotel on got on the train.
We get to the bar and sure enough Emily is awake drinking water. We walk up to her and sit down.
"Oh I thought you guys left me." Emily said smiling.
"We did but we came back to see if you were okay." Hayden said smiling back.
"Y'all are so kind. So later my friend are going to my hotel room and we are just gonna play games you know like truth or dare etc... Do y'all wanna join." she said.
"Uh. Sure. When? Because it's already 7." I said.
"Around 8:30 most of my friends will be off at the time so yeah."
"What's your hotel number?" Hayden asked.
"Room 349." She replied.
"That's right beside mine. Room 350" I said laughing.
"No way!"
"Yes way."
"Well if you don't show up I know where to find you." Emily said giggling.
"Well me and Hayden are gonna rest for a little bit so see you later." I said as I got up.
"Hayden? Who's Hayden?" Emily asked.
"I mean Mike sorry." I replied.
"Oh okay well see ya later chick." She said as she waved.
As we went back to my hotel room we talked about if we actually wanted to go. I said yeah because we could waste time and faster time goes by and the faster I can go home. But Hayden on the other hand wanted to just chill. He said he's been walking all day and he was just tired. I called him lame which I think finally made him change his mind. We got to the hotel room and we both sit on the bed.
"What are we gonna do?" Hayden asked.
"I want to read Sadie's journal, but I want to wait until I graduate. So she could have her last wish." I said as I looked at my hand.
"Just read it. I mean she wouldn't get mad that you read it. She wanted you to read it." Hayden said as he moved to the couch.
"No, she wrote on the journal graduation day. She apparently took 7 years to write. She started writing this when she was 11. This was her last wish and it was for me to read this on graduation day. I mean you wouldn't understand." I said shaking my head.
"You're right I wouldn't understand and I feel bad because you lost the most important person in your life and I haven't. It's hard for people like me to understand. And I'm sorry."
"It's fine at least you tried to understand." I said.
"Well I'm taking a nap so night." He said as he grabbed a blanket from the closet and went back to the couch.
I decided I would do the same and got in the bed.
