It was finally graduation day where I would walk across that stage. I had a picture of Sadie so she could walk across the stage with me. Everyone was at the graduation which made me nervous. My dad and he's casting crew, my mother, Sadie's parents, her brother and her sister in-law and her nephews and her niece, and of course my handsome boyfriend. I smiled at the thought of Hayden being my boyfriend.
"Madison Banks, and Sadie Vanity please come up. I am happy to say y'all are a great class of 2019." My principal said.
She handed my diploma and Sadie's.
"I'm proud of you and if Sadie was here I would've said the same thing. I'm glad I had the chance to get to know you two." She said as I walked back towards my seat.
After what seemed awhile we got to throw our caps in the air and take pictures with our families. Sadie's parents took pictures of me and Sadie well Sadie's framed photo and my dad did the same. I took Vanity's family photo while her mother and father held her diploma and picture. Then Hayden to mine and my father and my mothers picture. After all this was done we headed out to eat.
"So how's the movie going?" I asked.
"Oh it's going great. I mean you should know. You're there almost everyday." Hayden replied as he started to laugh.
"Oh shh." I said as I punched his arm.
"I would like to make a toast to Madison and Sadie, even though Sadie is no longer here with us, it still feels like she is. Madison and Sadie we our very proud of you two. We love y'all from the bottom of our heart. I know I'm glad that I ran into the same park as the Vanity family because if I didn't then my daughter would have never met her best friend. So a toast to these two beautiful girls." My dad said as everyone said cheers.
"I know I was happy to meet you at the park." A whisper said as I felt a warm hug.
I smiled at the thought that Sadie was actually here.
*Two years later*
Me and Hayden moved in together in our own house, it was beautiful. It was a home where you wanted to start a family. I'm not saying that we are starting a family now but whenever life lines up with us then we will but for now I'm traveling across America and Hayden is in more movies I think life is going according to plan. I hung my graduation photo with Sadie in the living room so I could be reminded of the best day ever when me and my best friend walked across the stage. I read the journal Sadie wrote for me. It was how she felt about me and it was loaded with lots of pictures from when we were 11 to when we were 17. I don't know what or who I would be if she hadn't have pushed me out of my shell. Sometimes I also wonder what would have happened if I didn't met Hayden. Would I still met him when he audition for his role? Would we still fall in love and move in together? Maybe in another world Sadie is alive or I still met Hayden and we became a couple. Only the universe would now. But out of all the stars in the sky I still had the chance to meet my best friend and the love of my life. Is this the happily ever after everyone talks about? If it is then I would like to stay here.
"Honey I'm home with our food!" Hayden yelled as he shut the door.
"Yay! I missed you!" I yelled as I ran to the living room.
I pull him into a hug and look him in his eyes and smile.
"I was only gone for 40 minutes?"
"I know but it felt like a life time."
"Well um Madison I don't want to ruin the moment but you have something on your lips."
"Really where?" I said as a let go of him and touched my lips.
"Right... There." He said as he kissed me.
I started to laugh because I thought of our first kiss.
"Are you laughing because I'm a bad kisser?" Hayden said as he started to laugh.
"No you just used the same line I used on you 2 years ago."
"I know right! I'm so smooth."
"You're a such a dork."
"And you're the love of my life."
I smiled when he said that. I can't wait until we have a family together.
