A Ghost From The Past

I wake up from alarms going off throughout the building. Wait is there a fire!
"Hayden wake up the fire alarms are going off!" I yelled as I grabbed all my stuff.
Hayden immediately gets up and grabs his stuff and we run out that door, down the stair and outside. A lot of people were outside because of the alarm.
"Can everyone just calm down. Someone pulled the fire alarm and whoever did will be found. You can get your stuff if you haven't already and you can just wait until you flight arrives. Have a great day." The woman said with a megaphone in her hand.
I look at the time and it's 7:00 am. I decided to go to the flight status to see what time our plane leaves and it was at 9 so we have 2 hours before I can go home and Hayden can go to his manager.
"I'm going back to the hotel to take a shower and change." Hayden said.
"Okay I'll get breakfast." I replied.
He nods and makes his way to the hotel room. I get on the train and headed to the donut shop as I get off I notice a girl. She looked oddly familiar. Sadie? She looks at me and tells me to follow her, then she walks threw a little alley. I followed of course, she takes a turn into a chapel. I did the same. She was sitting at one of the chairs. I sat next to her.
"Sadie? Is that really you?" I asked as a tear shed.
"Yes." She said as she turned toward.
"Oh my god your face what happened— oh right..."
"You know it's okay to read that text message. Right?"
"I know but I'm scared to read it. I want to keep a piece of you alive."
"Look Madison, my body may not be alive on earth anymore but my soul is alive. I will always be alive. I mean you keep everything of mine so there is still a piece of me alive."
"Sadie..."
"Yeah?"
"I miss you so much. My senior year has been terrible without you. I'm lost without you. I wish... I wish I had went with you. Maybe none of this would have ever happened. You would be home with me. You would've graduated with me in may. We could've became models together. Live in an apartment together until we met the loves of our life then move next to each other... Sadie will it ever get easy?" I said as I started to cry more.
"I miss you too, you're not lost Madison, your just sad, and I believe it will get easy. I saw that guy your hangout with. He makes you forget that your hurting, and that's good." She said as her cold body hugged me.
"Why do you want me to read the text?"
"I believe it will but you at ease. Well I have to go they're calling for me."
"Who is calling for you?"
She just winked and then disappeared.
As I wiped the tears away I get up and head to the donut shop. I got 2 French vanilla coffees and 4 donuts. When I got back to the hotel room Hayden was on his phone.
"Woah the donut shop must have been busy." He said looking up at me.
"Very." I said laughing.
I hand him is coffee and his two donuts. I look at the time and it's 7:45.
As I'm eating I hear a ding. It came from my phone and Sadie's text message popped up. Sadie of course you still here you want me to read it. I open my phone and got to messages and opened up Sadie's message. I let out a sigh.

I love you and I just wanted to tell you to not suffer. Not to get depressed. If I don't make it home well then at least I lived a happy 17 years with you. You are my rock, my ride or die, my best friend, my sister by choice, the other half of my heart. I have a journal that I want you to read on our graduation day. Please read it. I could write so much more and tell you how much I love you and how much I'm gonna miss being there for you when you need a hug, but I don't have enough time. So until we met again my beautiful sister. I love you ❤️
I started to cry at the text message but then again I felt happy that I read it. Sadie was right it was okay to read it.
"Are you okay Mads?" Hayden asked.
"Yeah I just read Sadie's text and I feel great."
"Oh okay."
"Wait did you just call me Mads?" I said laughing.
"Yes I think it's a good nickname." He said laughing.
"Mhm well I'm gonna take a shower before it's to late."
I grab one of my bags and took a shower. After I was finished I got dressed dried my hair, put a little makeup on and put a shirt on which I still haven't done. After that I was finally finished. I walk out and check my phone 8:30.
"Okay Hayden you ready?" I asked as I grabbed my bag and my suitcase."
"Ready as I'll ever be."
"Okay let's got back to Terminal A."
We get out the hotel and return the key and ran to the train stop. When we finally get off the train it was 8:45 and our flight was going to leave at 9 so we went to our station and waited for the line to get smaller and for us to get on the plane. We finally get on the first class plane and was ready to head home.
*Later*
After we get off the plane I see my dad and Hayden sees his manager. He looks at me and smiles.
"I have you number so I'll call you when I want to see you again." He said as he pulls me in a hug.
"Thanks for making yesterday one of the best day of my year. If that makes sense. I hope you get the role Hayden."
"I will I can feel it."
We let go and head our separate ways. I run up to my dad and pull him in a big hug.
"I missed you." My dad says.
"I missed you too."
