Vogel - Just a Kid

Okay, first real chapter ever. Here we go!

WARNING: SPOILERS

Vogel is basically a super hyper man-child. We see that in season two where Amanda wants to pretend she's his girlfriend and he acts like she is suggesting they eat slugs for dinner. I suspect this is because of how horrible Blackwing is, but we don't need to get into that (I could probably rant for hours). So here's just a few of my headcanons about Vogel acting like a kid. 

-Vogel was never given "the talk"

-This is partially because Blackwing doesn't care about them knowing that sort of stuff and partially because none of the other Rowdys had the guts to do it

-Amanda get catcalled/harassed by some jerk and Vogel doesn't understand why something they said was offensive

-Amanda accidentally gives Vogel "the talk" trying to explain

-Amanda once got Vogel a happy meal out of spite

-Joke's on her, Vogel loved it and kept the toy for weeks until he lost it

-Vogel can't tie shoelaces

-Martin sometimes tells Vogel stories before bed so he won't have nightmares

-Vogel is under no circumstances allowed to drive because he has the attention span of a goldfish and the impulse control of a toddler

-Vogel has no sense of personal space and will cuddle anyone

-The Rowdy's don't walk anywhere partially because they love the van and partially because Vogel wants to pet all of the pets and go in all the stores and that would take hours

-He draws with crayons

-When Vogel can't get his way he won't throw a tantrum, he'll do the puppy eyes and cry, a lot

-This works on all of the Rowdys

-He likes to help people and after they've gone on a rampage, Vogel will usually try to cover his family in little green bandaids because bandaids fix everything

-He screams song lyrics regardless of the tempo of the song

-Vogel had night terrors for awhile after they first escaped Blackwing and they FREAKED the Rowdys out

-He calls Amanda "mom" sometimes, but quickly changes it to "drummer"

-Amanda doesn't mind

-Vogel loves plants and tries to take care of them, but usually forgets to water them or accidentally leaves (pun intended) them places

-Vogel loses everything
