Chapter 6: The intertwined Hearts and The Broken One

[Donghae POV]

“Yes, we were.”

The moment I heard henry said those words, I suddenly felt a weird pain inside me. I was even more surprised that he bravely said it to us, most especially to Leeteuk hyung.

I looked on the side and saw Sam burying her face while Henry is still embracing her. She didn’t utter any words and remained on that position.

“BWO????!!!” all the other members shouted.

“really?” Yesung asked.

“How come you didn’t mention it to us?” Sungmin said.

“yah! How could you hide it form us?” heechul said.

“how long have you been together?” Ryeowook asked.

“Calm down everyone, how about I will answer your entire questions, I will just send Sam to her room.” Henry said as Sam is still in his arms.

As I saw them walking towards the hallway going to her rooms, I can’t held but to feel a little jealous. But why? I’m not supposed to feel this way towards her, I mean, its not that I didn’t like her at all, its just not right, argh! I’m really confused now!

[Sam POV]

Henry assisted me going back to my room. He opened the door and he leads me to my bed. I slowly rest my body on my bed as henry tucked me in under my sheets. He sits on the edge of my bed, beside me and even before he could say any words, I initiated the talk.

“Munchkins, why did you tell them that we are dating?” I curiously asked.

He put his hand on my face as he touched my right cheeks. He was looking at me with sincerity, as he said.

“I’m sorry if it had to be this way Sam, but I think this is the right now for you to know what I have been hiding all these years.”

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“Samantha, even since I know how to breathe and I was able to recognize your face, I knew then that there is something special in you. I watched you grow, from being the girl who loves gummy bears and the only game you know how to play is the tick-tac-toe, to a lady who loves music like I do, whose talent is well deserved to be recognized. As I stayed by your sides for years, I started to have a special feeling for you,  I thought it was just like a brotherly love, but as time passed by, I was able to acknowledge more than it. “He said as he grabs my hand and he tightly held it.

This is the first time in years I saw him looked at me like that. His eyes is full of emotions and I could see how pure his words to me.

“So  Sam, can you accept my heart and be my one and only?” he asked.

I took a deep breathe, I know I shouldn’t think of what he and the other will feel, so I said.

“of course munchkins!” I said as I hugged him and he hugged me back.

After a few minutes on that position, we slowly let go of the hug.

“You should rest now gummy bear.” He said as he tucked me back again in my bed.

“Good night Munchkins.” I said.

“Good night gummy bear, my princess.” He said as he kissed my forehead in which my face immediately turned red. He smiled and then he closed the lights and went towards the door.

As soon as he leaved, I slowly closed my eyes, and went to dreamland.

[Leeteuk POV]

As soon as henry arrived from Sam’s room, I immediately asked him.

“You could start explaining everything now.” I said as all of the members’ eyes and ears turn to him and anticipating what he is going to say.

“Uhmm, first of all hyungs, I didn’t kept it a secret to all of you, we just became a couple recently. Sam is my childhood bestfriend; we grew up together in way back in China. And ever since we were kids, I always have special feelings for her, and it was just now I had courage to spoke out loud all about it. But I’m even happier now that he accepted my heart.” He explained. Well, that was reasonable.

“OMO! I’m happy for you dongsaeng! Congratulations.” Zhoumi said as he approached him and hug him.

“Thank you hyung.” Henry said.

All of the other members came near to him to congratulate him on his new found relationship except one.

“well, I’m glad you explained it to us. Congratulations!” I said.

“but you know what this means right? No public PDA. And be cautious on the paparazzi’s and media around you.” I added.

“I know hyung, I guess we needed to be vampires for us to able to date without them noticing us.” He jokingly said.

Everyone had their usual conversation until I noticed one person in the area who is quiet for a long time. I approached him as I sat beside him.

“Hae.”

“Hae…”

“HAE……”

Still no response, he was just staring blankly on Henry on the guys.

“YAH! LEE DONGHAE!” I shouted.

“oh! Hyung! How long have you been there?” he surprisingly said.

“I was here calling your name so many times already.” I said. Then he went silent again.

“So aren’t you going to congratulate henry?” I asked.

“I will, its just..” he stopped from his words and he stood up.

“yah! Where are you going?” I asked.

“just to my room, I think I need to rest now, I’ll see you tomorrow hyung.” He said

As he walked away, knowing this dongsaeng for years, I already sensed that something is bothering him. I just do hope he will open it up to us soon. I don’t want him to carry such burden all by himself.
