M. Johnson announced a new student, I didn't care until he told the class he was going to sit next to me...

M. Johnson: "There Carlos go sit down".

Me: "Why next to me?"

M. Johnson: "You don't talk much, maybe you could even show him around at lunch!"

Me: "What!? No, I can't, I'm busy!"

M. Johnson: "It wasn't a question! Ok class let's go back to today's lesson, Frederick why don't you tell us the answer to this equation!"

I didn't know who that Carlos guy was and I didn't want to know it shouldn't be allowed to force a student to interact with another one without one of the students consent! Lunch time came around and I was trying to hide from that guy but everywhere I went, he was already there!

Carlos: "Are you done hiding?"

Me: "No actually!"

Carlos: "I'll get lost if you don't show me around!"

Me: "It's not my problem!"

Carlos: "the teacher said it was!"

Me: "Well, the teacher isn't here!"

Carlos: "What did I ever do to you?"

Me: "Nothing ! I just don't like you"

Me: "Well I bet I can make you like me, as friend, I mean!"

Me: "And I bet you should leave!"

Something about him just made me hate him! I just didn't know what exactly!The end of the day arrives and me and Leia have been walking together...

Leia: "Daniel told me about the breakup you know?!"

Me: "I hope he didn't tell everyone!"

Leia: "Look Issys , you're my bestie and I don't want to hurt you but, I had a crush on Daniel for years and I just wanted to know if..."

Me: "Go ahead! Its over between me and him , it was for months actually, we just didn't have the courage to end it!"

Leia: "Thanks! You're the best!
Then she left me there on the side walk."

I felt like I was only the best as she said, when people wanted things from me and it made me feel even more useless...
