Bad news/ part 2

I didn't  go to school for at least 3 weeks! I was so sad and i also got sick. I would throw up everytime i stood up for too long. But now i felt much better, i still was sad but not as much! It was saturday, my dad's friend Vince came over..

Vince:" You are so tall now, last time i saw you,  you were 10 years old!"

Dad:" How has been going your research in Cardintown?"

Then something hit me! Cardintown? I for sure had heard that name before, but where..

Vince:" Unfortunatly it has been going pretty bad! Since a few months ago!"

Dad:" Sweetheart can you go take two beers in the fridge?"

They wanted me to leave and i knew my dad too well, he didn't  want me to hear their conversation. But Cardintown, that name was way too familiar, but why?!

I brought them the beers and left to my room. Suddenly..

*flashback*

Me:"So when did you learn to control yourself?"

Carlos:" I was 13 I lived in Cardintown,my old town, most of us lived there before the hunters found us!"

*End of flashback*

Omg, Cardintown is Carlos's old town! But what was Vince doing there? I decided to go spy on Vince and my dad's conversation. I go down the stairs as quietly as i could and i started to listen..

Vince:" We need to find a solution!"

Dad:" Well what do you have in mind?"

Vince:" I heard one of them lived here! But they moved hastily! I heard he goes to your daugther's school! The  Jamesons!"

Carlos's last name is Jameson! Is Vince a hunter!? I then trip and they hear me..

Dad:"Issys?!"

Me:" Yes?"

Vince:" WAS SHE LISTENING??!!" he screams with anger.

Me:" No, I just fell."

Vince:" You better just fell!"

I've never seen Vince that angry, he looked like he wanted to slap me. And that scared me and my dad could see I was scared..

Dad:" Vince, you should go!"

Vince then leaves, leaving my dad and I together..

Me:" I can't believe you hang out with a guy like that, if you weren't there, who knows what he would have done!"

Dad:" He is not a friend! He helps with  my buisness!"

Me:"What type of buisness, i heard you talking! You were talking about a guy from my school! When a buisness envolves a kid that is creepy!"

Dad:" Honey, it's complicated!"

Me:" Remember a few weeks ago? You grounded me because i lied, but you're doing it yourself! I want to know what is your buisness about!?"

Dad"Ok, but you need to keep what i'm about to tell you private!"

Me:" Spit it out!"

Dad:" There's some creatures in the world, they're really dangerous, What I do is , I kill those creatures to protect the world from them! And i sell their body and that gives me a lot of money!"

Me:" What are those creatures?!" I say with a determined look!"

Dad:" Wolves"

Omg! Carlos left because of me, he left because my dad wanted to kill him!
