"Uhhh Seungmin what are you doing here? I thought we agreed, we were going to meet at the cafe." Sarah furrowed her eyebrows.

It was the next morning. They were dressed up for their casual date that her father set up and he showed up 10 minutes early.

"Yeah don't be flattered, my father told me it's more gentlemen-like to pick you up." He rolled his eyes as he turned around, walking ahead towards the car.

She scoffed at his attitude. "Look, I don't know if you act like this in general but you could lose the attitude."

"Sure...princess." He whispers.

Sarah let out an unamused snicker, "What was that?" She asks.

Seungmin shook his head. "Nothing. I think for the car ride we shouldn't say anything." Sarah leaned back in her seat, "You just read my mind."

-

After about 10 minutes of silence, they have finally arrived at the cafe. The minute they walked to the entrance she suddenly stops. "What, is this too cheap for you?" Seungmin said in a huff.

She sucked in air, "No uh I haven't been here since I was a little girl. I stopped coming ever since...well ever since my mother died. I guess being here just flooded a lot of memories."

"Oh I'm sorry I-"

"Don't be, you wouldn't know." Sarah cut him off. "Let's just go in shall we." She kept her head high and strutted her way in the cafe.

The cafe wasn't small but it wasn't big either. It's perfectly family friendly and the setting in the cafe is just calming for the eyes to see.

"Oh my, Park Jieun? Is that really you? I don't know if you remember me but I'm-"

Sarah's smile has reached both of her ears, "Mrs. Song. Of course I remember you but I go by Sarah now." She hugged the middle aged woman and Seungmin just stood back in silence.

"Look how much you've grown. You look so much prettier and younger without all that make up I see you have on magazines."

She chuckles, "Thank you. I've missed you so much." Mrs. Song finally noticed the boy standing next to her, "Oh and who is this handsome boy?"

Sarah gulps as she looks at the guy. "Hello I'm Kim Seungmin, I'm...Sarah's fiancé." It almost sounded forced but he didn't want to be rude to the nice woman in front of him.

The woman's eyes widened in surprise, "Oh I never thought the day would come. I wish your mother was still here to see this. Come, I know the perfect place for you guys to sit." Mrs. Song was happier than the couple combined.

Seungmin was confused but Sarah knew exactly where Mrs. Song was leading them. It was their table, as in Sarah's mother and her table. It was more private and the scenery was floated with flowers and paintings.

It was almost like being the Queen of England.

Seungmin looked around as he was being lost in the beauty of the room.

"I'll be back with your tea and pastries." Mrs. Song left without any response.

Sarah awkwardly chuckled breaking the silence. "So...how do you know Mrs. Song?" Seungmin asks.

"She basically took cared of my mother when she was a teenager and when I was born, Mrs. Song was basically like a second mother. She was there for me when my mother died but then I became very distant with everyone."

They walked around the room a little bit and came across a picture with her mother and Sarah as a little baby. "Your mother is very pretty."

"She was."

He looks at her with sympathy in his eyes. 'What's happening to my heart right now?'

Sarah quickly wipes her tears she didn't know fell. "Let's just take our seats. I'm sure you would want to get this over with." He just looks at her, "No, I really don't."

They looked into each other's eyes for a second but Sarah quickly looked away, "Uh here you can sit here. If you don't mind I would like to sit where my mom always sat."

He took out the seat for her. "Of course."

Mrs. Song then came back with a pot of tea and bunch of plates with pastries and slices of cake.

"Thank you Mrs. Song. It's good to be back here again." Sarah smiles.

"Aw you're very welcome my dear. I hope you guys enjoy yourselves." She left once again.

"Here." Sarah poured a cup of hot tea in both of their cups. "Thanks." He said.

He took a sip, "Would you like to tell me more about your mother? If you're comfortable with it."

"Ah there's so much I don't know where to start. She really was a sweet and supportive person. She stood by my father throughout everything he did for the company, she paid for me and my brother's music lessons, and she even taught me most things I needed to know about the world."

"Wait you had music lessons? You don't look like the type. I-I mean-" Sarah chuckles, "No it's okay. I took singing and piano lessons. Not a lot of people know because I just practice for myself." She shrugs.

"Well I think you should meet my friends. We could make amazing music together." He was shocked at what just came out of his mouth.

Sarah was as surprised but she lets out a chuckle. "Maybe."

"Well what made you want to become a model?" He casually took a bite of the chocolate cake but did a double take when he realized it was amazingly good.

She grins at his reaction, "I actually wanted to follow my mother's footsteps. She was big time, but she ended her career early when she married my father."

"Oh. I would of thought you wanted to model for-" He stopped himself realizing what he was about to say.

"Model for what?" Sarah innocently asks.

He shook his head, "Never mind. Tell me more." He tried to change the subject. "No. You were about to say something. Go ahead." She nodded.

He pursed his lips, already regretting what he's about to say. "I don't feel this way anymore but I always thought you...wanted to go into modeling...for the fame and money."

She scoffed, "That's why you've been calling me spoiled and a princess? You know I was actually enjoying this but knowing how much you actually think of me...I need to go." She stood up.

Seungmin followed her action, "No wait Sarah. It was before I got to know you."

"Yeah but all this time you only assumed what I'm like. You thought so low and bad of me. You don't even know me." She said.

With that she just walked out the door.

He slammed a napkin to the table, "Dammit I definitely screwed this up big time."
