Nini POV
I just got a job at this cafe. It's called SLCoffee. (A/N I picked the first thing that came to me head😂) My first day is today and someone is teaching me how everything works.

I am so confused, there are so many things. I walked to the counter looking for the person who was teaching me what to do. I think this guy knew I was a little lost cause he asked what I needed.

"What do you need pretty lady?"

"I'm the new barista and I'm looking for the person who is teaching me everything."

"Oh that's me. I'm Richard Bowen." I started laughing. "Yeah I know, I know. No one under the age of 50 should be named Richard. That's why most people call me Ricky."

"Well nice to meet you Richard. My name is Nina Salazar-Roberts but everybody calls me Nini."

"Nice to meet you Nina. If you'll come back here I can teach you everything there is to being a barista." I did what he said. He gave me an apron and started teaching me how to work everything.

There are so many parts to everything. There is a lot of syrup, creams, types of coffee, and other things for non-coffee drinks.

"This is so complicated."

"Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it eventually." He gave me a sweet smile. I gave him one back. He had me make a couple drinks by myself and I started to get it but was still a little confused. "See I told you you would get it."

"Yeah, I guess you were right. Except some of it is still hard."

"Okay, well how about this, you do the register and I'll make the drinks. Deal?"

"Deal." I have to admit, Ricky was really cute. But he's my coworker, I can't date him.

We worked pretty well together. Everything was going smoothly.

It's been a couple week and Ricky has been flirting with me, I have been flirting back too. He will always wink at me, give me his 'award winning' smirk, or say a very stupid pickup line. He is very cute but like I said before we work together. And he's a couple years older than me.

"Are those space pants? Because your butt looks out of this world." Ricky came up behind me.

"You're picking up lines are getting annoying."

"Come on. You know you love them."

"You're right. I do, I really do." I turned around and looked him in the eyes.

We sat and stared at each other for a while.

"You two. Go on a date already, I'm getting fed up with your flirting." Our manager came out of nowhere. Then he left us with our thoughts.

Ricky spoke first, "So, you know. Maybe we should do what he said."

"Yeah, maybe we should."
