"𝑺𝑶... 𝑾𝑯𝑨𝑻 𝑫𝑰𝑫 𝒀𝑶𝑼 𝑵𝑬𝑬𝑫 𝑻𝑶 𝑻𝑨𝑳𝑲 𝑻𝑶 𝑴𝑬 𝑨𝑩𝑶𝑼𝑻?" Nini asked, as she and Ricky had been swaying to the music for about thirty seconds now, and the anxiety to know what he wanted to talk about had started eating at her to the point where she just couldn't wait for him to speak first.

The boy on the other hand had completely forgot between the short time span, and taking a funny pleasure in watching EJ's troubled face that the reason he had given for even walking over to Nini was that he had to talk to her.

"Uhh... I wanted to um take you up on that songwriting thing." His mind told him that he shouldn't have done this- he doesn't know this girl. He doesn't know if he could trust her, let alone let her hear the cries of his soul in the form of music.

Her face said it all. It lit up immediately. "I would love to show you what's I've been working on." Ricky knew how important song writing was to him, and he only assumed that it was also as important to Nini; the fact that she was so okay with sharing a part of her soul with him was comforting to say the least.

"I- I'd love to do the same." He twirled her, willing himself to say this next part. "I have a song I've been working on, and I just can't get the bridge to a place that I love it." He replied as he twirled her back to face into his chest.

She tried to ignore the burning of her body where his hands touched, and where her back and his chest connected. "It's like what you have is fine to others, but to you nothing seems good enough? Happens to me all the time. I've got one I'm working on now, the melody just won't work. It's so frustrating."

"Piano melody?" He questioned, pulling her closer, resting both of his hands on her waist, finally positioning her back to face him. Her arms were around his broad shoulders.

"Yeah."

"Maybe try a different instrument? Maybe acoustic guitar? Or any guitar. I haven't heard the song but a sick base line might make it better. Is it more...upbeat?"

"Yes it is! Wow... That's actually a good idea. Thank you Ricky. I'll try that."

"You're welcome. You gotta let me here the outcome now okay?"

"I will, I will." She laughed. "Maybe you can come to the studio with me? When I record it?"

"You promise?" He teased.

"Yes!" She laughed, and it was quiet until she spoke again. "So... what about your song?"

"What do you mean?"
