I woke up late, a headache forming as I slowly sat up from the floor. I clutch my head, looking at the four kids who sat on the beds, "Where is everyone?"

"That witch girl called and said she needed help with something in exchange for the magic she did, so Steve and Robin left to see her." Mike explains, staring at the floor.

"And Elena and Caroline went out." Dustin says.

I get up, still holding my head, which Max takes notice of, "Are you okay?"

I quickly turn around, pondering if I should tell her about the dream I had or not, but decide against it, "Yeah, I'm fine. I think it's just a side affect that comes with the whole body-switch thing."

It could have just been a dream. It was, for sure. There was no way that Billy had gotten in contact with me through my mind.

The phone rings, and immediately Dustin lunges for it, picking it up, "Hello? Oh. I'm not a twerp! Yeah, she's right here. Emmie!"

I take the phone from my cousin, holding it to my ear, "Hello?"

"Emmie, thank god. There's this girl looking for you, short curly hair, very very mad-"

"Emmie! Is that Emmie? Emmie where the hell are you?"

"Give me that," Damon grunts, "Come to my house, now."

The line goes dead, and I sigh, putting the phone down, "Road trip."

After leaving the dorm, we were discreetly trying to run off campus without getting caught by any guards.

"Cecelia!" A girl shouts, "Cecelia!"

The girl comes up to me, and I furrow my eyebrows, "Um, hi?"

"Where'd you go last night?" The girl asks, looking at the kids behind me.

"Excuse me?" I question.

"Cece, are you feeling okay?" She puts her hand to my forehead, "You drank a lot last night."

Lucas shoves me, and I look over, seeing him give me an expectant look.

"Oh!" I shout, realizing I was still in a different body.

"Yep. She's Cecelia." Dustin confirms, nodding.

"Okay..." She trails, "Are you coming to class or what?"

I shake my head rapidly, "I, uh, have some things to do today."

She eyes the kids again, before nodding slowly, "Okay, weirdo. I'll see you later."

With that, she walks away, and I let out a dry chuckle, "Come on, guys."

As soon as we got to the boarding house, Nancy's head snapped to us, and she pulls Mike into a hug, "Thank god, Mike. Emmie, what are they-who the hell are you?"

"Emmie," I state, "I'm in someone else's body, it's a long story, I'll explain later."

"Okay, well, what I want you to explain is why you have all the kids, and why all their parents don't give a shit they're gone." Nancy crosses her arms.

"Oh, god. You're in for it now." Mike comments, earning a whack from Nancy.

After explaining the situation, Nancy calms down a bit, sighing.

The vampire known as Enzo comes out, staring at me, mouthing, "I know your secret," My eyes widen, and I watch as he opens the door, Care and Elena stood behind it, "I thought you were bringing a witch."

"We said we'd call her, we didn't say we'd pick her up," Caroline reminds him, throwing her coat as his face as the two walk in, "Hey, Emmie!"

I wave at the blonde, as Elena looks around, "So where's, uh, where's Damon?"

As if on cue, Damon walks into the room, and I purse my lips. Recently, the two had broken up, but I never got the reason for it.

"Hi." He greets.

"Hi." She replies, the tension in the air anything but thin.

After a moment of awkward silence, Enzo speaks up, "So who could use a drink from the library?"

"Yes, please." Caroline speaks up.

"I'll come too." I answer.

Nancy puts her hand in the air.

"I do." Dustin grins.

"No chance in hell." I deny as we all exit, leaving Elena and Damon by themselves.

Enzo pours the drinks as Caroline listens in on their conversation.

"Care, stop eavesdropping." I scold, handing Nancy one of the drinks.

"Oh, it's so bad. They're fishing for small talk. We should do something." Caroline claims.

"Or we could stay and let them amuse us as they resist the desire to tear each other's clothes off." Enzo retorts, handing Caroline a drink.

"There are children present!" Caroline exclaims, but a smirk creeps up on her lips as she takes the drink from Enzo.

The kids scurry off to look through the mansion as Enzo sits on the arm of Nancy and I's chair, closing his eyes as the two vampires listen in on the others conversation.

Nancy and I silently sip the bourbon, not being able to hear the two exes converse.

"Ouch! She used the f-word," Enzo mutters, "Poor bastard."

"Damn." I breathe out a chuckle.

"But I thought that's what this was." Caroline motions with her hands, referring to Elena and Damon.

"Oh, it is, but it was never explicitly stated until now." Enzo replies.

"And that matters because?" Caroline voices.

"Well, because until it's officially out there, there's still hope, and hope-" Enzo chuckles, "Hope can trick you into all sorts of hilariously unrealistic scenarios."

"Do you mean Maggie?" Caroline questions.

"Who's Maggie?" Nancy asks, leaning her arm against the un-occupied arm rest.

"When I was stuck in the cell, she-"

"Cell!?" I exclaim, cutting him off.

"Yeah. You know, where your dad worked." Enzo explains.

"My dad?" I ask, "My dad was a doctor."

Caroline's lips part, "Em, your dad experimented on vampires."

"He...my dad knew about vampires?" I ask, suddenly feeling nauseous.

"You don't look to good." Enzo points out.

"I'm fine," I confirm, "Just surprised, obviously," I set down the now empty glass, standing up, "I'm gonna go find Dustin and them."

"I'll join you." Nancy declares.

While we walk a way, a memory clouds my mind.

Billy's dad gives me a look, furrowing his eyes,
"You look familiar."

"Pardon?"

"I think i've seen you before, is your dad Grayson Gilbert?" He asks as I switch my weight on to one leg.

"Yeah, he was. How'd you know my dad?" I ask, curiously.

"I used to work with him before, you know.."

"Holy shit."
