Chapter 11

Mateo's pov:

Nope, not there, not there either, and not in here.

Where did they go then? I walked over to Princeton and Jackson.

I asked them, "Where did Levi and Charles go?"

Prince looked up from his book and replied, "I think they went outside, in the back."

"Outside, to do what?" I questioned.

Jackson answered, "They said they were going to clean up the area."

Oh yeah, you might be confused. So several months have passed and it's summer vacation now!

Woohoo, I know right! We're also super, super close to Min-Jun, Vincent, and Crystal to the point I think we can have a sleepover!!

Well to the point, I think we can have a sleepover. We haven't had one yet but that's what I'm going to ask Levi and Charles, right now.

I also didn't tell Jackson or Prince yet because if Levi and Charles do say yes, it can be a surprise but if they say no... I guess we just won't have a sleepover.

Also, I have something to tell you, you can't tell anyone?

Okay? Okay, I'm trusting you on it. I like Min-Jun, Jackson likes Vinci, and Prince likes Crystal.

When I say we like them, I mean we like "like" them.

So hush and keep it as a secret!

I walked to the backyard to see Levi and Charles, hard at work.

"Levi, Charles, what are you doing?" I asked.

Levi replied, "I was cleaning up the pool so we can swim in it."

"The garden looked dead and messy so I'm fixing it." Charles stated as he turned to me.

I nodded and asked, "When will that be done?"

"In a few minutes." Levi replied.

Charles said, "In a bit, are you hungry? I can take a break and make you something to eat."

I shook my head 'no' and said, "I'm okay, I just had a question."

"What's the question? Go ahead and ask." Levi replied.

I took a deep breath then asked, "Can Min-Jun, Crystal, and Vincent sleepover?"

They stopped what they were doing and faced me, completely.

"Why?" They asked.

I explained, "We've come to the point where we're very close and allowed to do that type of thing. Plus, it's supposed to be a surprise for Prince and Jackson."

"Why would it be a surprise for them?" Charles asked.

I rubbed the back of my neck and said, really fast, "Jackson likes Vinnie and Prince likes Crystal-"

Charles screamed then said, "Oh my god, they do?! Aww, young love is so cute!"

"Shhh, they didn't want me to tell either of you." I said as I put my finger to my lips.

Levi laughed and said, "I'm guessing you like Minnie?"

I blushed a little then nodded softly. Charles squealed while Levi giggled out, "I knew it."

"We all knew it from the first time they told us about them." Charles stated.

I rolled my eyes at them then asked, "So is that a yes?"
