“In the history, here on our own world called Flyrym, read as flyrim, you are free to fly and go wherever you want. There are five lands. Nowhere in the North, Somewhere in the South, Anywhere in the West, Elsewhere in the East, and Cnidocil ( read as nidowsil), in the middle of the four nations. Where no one else resides aside from the Takkhas, the cursed clan, is largest of the five and it is where the dragons, Pegasus, unicorn, chimeras and other creatures live. Ryms, people of this world Flyrim, once had peace and freedom. But one day, the greedy headmaster of the Saltahs, people of Somewhere, declared war against Nowhere. They became so eager to have the properties and riches of the said land.

Starting that day, the Saltahs were isolated. They are characterized by their glow-in-the-dark wings. When you’re a Saltah, you’re despised. In the following years until now, the Saltahs still hold a grudge against the ryms of Nowhere.”

Its’s so boring. I already memorized these! What I want to know is, how does the Earth looks like? Our planet Flyrym was said to be floating in its skies high above! Mom never answered that question.

“Mom. You’ve been telling that story for ages!” complained my younger brother, Aim. Nice one kiddo.

“Kids, you need to memorize the history!” Dad said while he’s busy shining his swords. Myron, my father, is the great blacksmith. Majority of the weapons here at Nowhere is made by my father. Mom and dad are both vanguards, greatly respected and honoured by Vallahs.

“Okay. That’s it for today! Go to bed! Tomorrow is a big day sweeties.” Aim and I kissed good night to them and went to bed.

“Hey, Iana. I’m excited for the Orientation tomorrow!” Aim whispered to my ear. I can feel his excitement. I kissed his forehead, and answered back,

“I hope we’ll enjoy our 5 years of training at The Seedling Campus.”

“I wonder what and how strong my tigrine would be. Would I be like father?”

“Aim! That’s impossible. Father is the strongest vanguard! He mastered 4 tigrines, while the strongest rym can only master two! He’s beyond normal. It’s impossible for you to be like him!”

“Look who’s talking Adriana! You can’t even fly!”

“Well. I can’t remember saying that I want to be like dad!”

WUSSHH! Aim and I had a heart attack when mother suddenly threw a knife on the wall at the left end of our bed.

“Why are your eyes still open? I think I told you to---“

“You told us to go to bed mom. We’re already on our bed. You did not tell us to go to sleep.” Aim joked. That was a bad move brother!

“GO. TO. SLEEP. Do you want me to sew your eyes?!”

“I-I-I-I’m sorry mom! I was just kidding. Yeah. I’m kidding!” Aim closed his eyes and so did I. I’m afraid that I’d burst out laughing if I’d look at Aim’s nervous face. Without realizing, I fell into a deep sleep.

“Run Adriana... Take Aim with you...”

“Dad! Don’t close your eyes! Don’t leave us! Please!” Father’s clothes were drenched with blood. He was killed by a young rym with sharp black wings. I didn’t see his face for he was masked. He gave me a handkerchief while I was crying, holding dad’s bloody hands.
