New friends meet Old friends
Lisa POV
"Hey," I said sitting down
"when'd you get here?" Logan asked (all their names start with L)
"not too long ago"
-20 mins later-
I just finished my float so generally, I would leave but I decided to stay and talk with my brothers for once. we talked about how my mom is talking to someone in the neighborhood a new man in her life is pretty good she hasn't talked to anyone since my dad died. we also talked about our old life in L.A. after 10 minutes of talking I finally decided to leave and hang up more pictures in my room.
"I'm going to head out now" I started heading toward the door I waved at the girls I just met before heading out I heard Roberta say "Woah sam get a load of your mom" I looked out to say a woman dressed like a teenager short shorts, tall boots, and sunglasses. she looked cute but to see that a mom would wear that is weird if I saw my mom wearing that I would be embarras-
I was knocked out of my thoughts by bumping into someone and both of us went falling"I am so so sorry I'm clumsy sometimes" I looked up from my scraped knees to see a boy he was blond, slightly tall, awfully familiar and he was holding his head!!. I quickly got up and squatted next to him "does it hurt?" I asked concerned but instead of answering he just looked at me ohh that's how I know him he's a friend when he came to L.A. two years ago "Scott?"
"Lisa?" we hugged then pulled away "you look..... older" he chuckled
"hey" I punched him playfully but before we could say anything the girls came rushing out
"OH MY GOD LISA ARE YOU OKAY" Chrissy yelled looking at my knee
"yeah it's just a scrape," I said I looked back at Scott how was glaring at the three girls behind me and Chrissy but out of nowhere three other boys came behind Scott what the hell is going on?!
"wormer alert," Teeny said Scotts brothers just shoot mad glares at the girls they then glared at me I smiled "hey," I said they all came and jumped on me and smiled
"LISA!! WE MISSED YOU" the girls gave confused looks at each other
" where's wendy?" one of them asked I couldn't tell which one because they were on top of me
"she's still in L.A.," I tell them "can you get off now?" they all got off
-5 mins later-
after the wormers left me and the girls wanted to know how I knew them so we went to my house.
"well they came to L.A. two years ago they stayed at a hotel by my house and we met at the bowling alley then we hung out every day that summer with Wendy, of course, me and Scott got really close I had feelings for him but I didn't know if he felt the same then he left so I've moved on since then. I met Adam Banks" I got cut off by Roberta
"the guy from anaheim the mighty ducks?"
" yeah he's about a year older he's fourteen and I'm thirteen turning fourteen in October, I met him when he came to play hockey for Team USA last year we've been dating since then on and off phone calls and letters but he went back to minneso- I FORGOT TO TELL ADAM I'VE MOVED SHITT" I went to the phone in my bedroom and dialed his phone number
"Hello?" his father answered
"hi, mr. banks, is Adam home?" I asked
"Lisa how wonderful to hear from you we've been worried when Adam told us you haven't answered his letters and phone calls," she said "and yes his out front playing hockey with Charlie hold on" I turned to the girls admiring the pictures
"Hey I'm gonna get back to how I met them after I'm done talking to Adam which will take a second," I told them and they all nodded
"Hello?" Adam said I decided to mess with him
"Hey Adam your off the team I'm so sorry," I said in a deep voice when Roberta heard me say that she started laughing quietly
"what?" I could hear Charlie in the back asking questions
"I'm kidding babe" I could hear a sigh of relief
"Lisa you scared the crap outta me" he said
"so I sound like Coach Bombay?" I asked and he chuckles
"kinda"
"Hey so your mom says that Charlie's there?" when I said that I saw Roberta's eyes widen
"Yeah he's right here"
" Heyyy Lisa how you doing," he asked,
"fine myself you?"
"I'm doing great"
"hey, so my friend is totally into you" Roberta slapped me
"ow" I started laughing
"Wendy?"
"no my new friend Roberta dipshit," I said
"details come on"
"how 'bout you ask her?" I passed the phone to Roberta who is shaking her head no
" no no no n- heeyyy" Roberta says the rest of us laugh at nervous Roberta
"well I'm Roberta, I'm 13 years old and I like going to the diner and I love sports," she said nervously
"Yeah, yeah totally call you on this phone tomorrow?" she said still nervous then she passed me the phone
"Hello?" Adam asked
"Hey babe"
"what was that about Charlie is all nervous and smiley," he said
"I just gave him a new girlfriend" Roberta slapped me again
"Hey," she said I chuckled
"Hey adam I have to tell you something"
"yeah?"
"I moved to Indiana," I said
"WHAT?!" he yelled "that's not that far of a drive but still far," he said
"yeah I know"
"do you know if you could join the hockey team you might compete for state with your skills," he said
"I don't know yet maybe there's probably all boys without Wendy"
"That's okay it doe- " he got cut off by someone "hey I got to go we have to practice for our game with a middle school"
"do you have to practice? I mean they're middle schoolers"
"you are too"
"fair okay bye Adam"
"bye"
I turned toward Roberta "Roberta and Charlie sitting in a tree" I sang when the others joined
"K-I-S-S-I-N-G" we all sang laughing
" ha ha ha" Roberta said sarcastically "and broke a branch and fell on Lisa" she sang
now everyone was laughing but interrupted by my mom knocking
"yeah" the door opened and mom came in
"the wormers are here" she said
"oh okay let them in"
"WHAT" the girls yelled so I faked an evil laugh
"damn she's cupid and a witch," Sam said
mom looked at me confused "cupid?" she said
"I may have set up Charlie and Roberta" I said putting my hands up she just chuckled and walked out after a couple of seconds we hear running up the stairs and the door opened
