chapter 6: a reunion

Lisa POV

~4 hours later~

the girls went to this baseball game I didn't go I just don't like baseball it's not my type, hockey is my type.

"Honey dinners ready" my mom called from downstairs

as I walk down the steps I realize someone's here and my brothers seem to not like the person.

"Hi, I'm Percy," he said

"Lisa"

we all sat around the dinner table in an awkward silence, it was very weird mom isn't the type to date men I don't blame her she hasn't dated anyone since my dad died I'm happy for her. my brothers, on the other hand, look like they hate him, like they wanna yell at him or fight him.

"mom, can I go see a friend?" I asked

"after you eat a bit"

I ate half of my plate already so I just ate a few peas and left I didn't know exactly where I'm going but I live right next to Roberta so I decided to go there. I knocked on her door and a tall boy answered he looked a lot like Percy.

"hey, is Roberta home?" I asked

"yeah she's at the back you can just go around"

"thanks"

I walk to the back and came across a swing, a porch swing and sitting on it was Scott and Roberta.

"canIkissyou?"

" what are you mumbling," Roberta asked

"umm- would it be alright if, can I kiss you"

"I guess"

"great ready?"

"wait- you wanna do it now?" Roberta shock in her voice

"Yeah I mean if you want too"

"okay" she chuckled a bit

and right there I froze just completely paralyzed, a single tear fell but I quickly wiped it and walked away

do I like Scott?, no I have a boyfriend

once I got home I ran upstairs regretting even leaving why am I crying?

I slammed my bedroom door and jumped on my bed tears soaked my pillow by now I then heard a knock on my door but I refused to answer I heard the door open as I sob.

"Hey what's wrong," someone said rubbing my back that voice I know that voice I sat up and came face to face with Adam Banks, I immediately hugged him he hugged back. once we pulled away I looked down and with two fingers Adam lifted my chin worry filled his face.

"what's wrong?" he asked

"I just- I- can't" I sighed and looked down again

"hey hey hey you don't have to tell me if you don't want" I smiled and kissed him for the first time in our relationship.

"I have something else that'll make you happy," he said and stood up and opened the door to reveal Guy, Connie, Charlie, Luis, Julie, Averman, and Jesse

"Hey, Mrs. Cake eater," Jesse said

I smiled and hugged them one by one it was nice

"where are you guys staying?" I ask

"Banksie here said we can stay here or in a hotel," Averman said

"and how'd you guys get here?"

"We took a bus and met up with Julie and Luis at the airport" Connie replied

I nodded

"Hey wanna go for a walk it's only 8:30," I asked

"yeah sure," Charlie said

"oh my god, we can go meet Roberta!"

everyone looked at each other confused and Charlie was just blushing I just laughed and started walking down the stairs

"uh Lisa where are we going to put our luggage?" Guy asked

"how long are you guys staying?"

"a week" Adam said

"just put it in my room"

everyone ran up the stairs with their duffle bags and came back down I got my bag that had flashlights and stuff because every time they come we do something stupid. we all walked out of the house and just walked nowhere specific just walking, I started heading toward Roberta's and I knocked on the door this time Percy opened the door.

"Percy?" I said confused

"Hey Lisa what's up?"

"is Roberta here?" I asked and Charlie nudged my back

"yeah, Roberta! someone's at the door!" he yelled and I heard footsteps she saw me and smiled

"wanna come for a walk with us?" I asked and she looked at her dad

"okay be back by 10" Percy said

"thanks" and walked out

"Charlie Roberta, Roberta Charlie," I said

"H-Hey" Roberta stuttered

"h-hi" Charlie doing the same
