Mattia's POV
After Kairi left to go into the room I talked to the boys for a few more minutes and got all of their numbers and made a gc. I can actually see us all becoming friends, especially ale me and him already feel like we've known each other forever. We haven't, but I can't help and think that I've either met him before or I've seen him somewhere.
"Bye guys, see you at lunch." I say walking back to the room, I see Kairi walking towards his bed from the closet. He must be unpacking, I find out that that's exactly what he's doing as he's taking a hoodie out of his bag and hanging it up.
"Is that all you brought." I say seeing a few more hoodies in his bag.
"No I have more bags in the car, this is the one I carry with smaller things in it." He reply's from the direction of the closet.
"I meant the hoodies bubs, not the bag." I say sitting on my bed, I don't wanna go get my stuff yet and I already showered so I didn't need anything just yet so I didn't move. I'm lazy sue me.
"Oh uh yea, hoodies are mainly all I wear." I hear him mumble, did that upset him?
"What'd you say?" I ask even though I heard him, I wanna know if he's upset or not.
"I only really wear hoodies." He replies with a heavy sigh at the end. He's definitely upset and he's scrunching his nose, is he gonna cry? I see him look down and that's when I know he's about to cry, I just can't figure out why.

I hear this and I look up to see him now closing the bathroom door.
"Kai, what happened?" I ask knocking on the door softly
"N-Nothing, I'm fine." Is the response I got but I knew it was a lie as soon as I heard a sniffle followed by a sigh .
"Bub, can you open the door please?" I whisper but loud enough for him to hear me. I hear the door unlock and the sight I was met with broke my heart. The small boy before me had tear stained cheeks and bloodshot eyes, his nose was red and his sleeves were wet.
"Kai, what's going on? Can you talk to me please?" I basically plead to him while holding him in my arms playing with his hair.
"Mattia I told you I was fine, I'm still fine." He says confidently but you can hear his voice break at the end.
"Bubs, you don't always have to be fine. Fine doesn't mean fine the scale goes great, good, okay, not okay, I hate you, fine. You can tell me what's wrong." I say pulling his chin up to look at me.
"You'll think I'm stupid, it doesn't matter." He says turning his head and walking away.
"No, you can't tell me what I'll think or how I feel. Only I know that until I choose to open up and trust you enough to share it. You can't make that choice for me." I'm not letting this go, I don't know why I was getting so angry but the thought of him being this upset. This hurt, it broke me a little and if it hurt me like that to see him that way I wasn't going to let him handle this much pain.
"I- I'm sorry, I never looked at it that way. It's just that's how most people have treated me." He starts while walking back up to me but now by the closet.
"I wanna tell you I do, but I'm not there yet. We just met and it was in a fight, yes you stood up for me and I appreciate it so much but like you said I have to trust you, I have to feel safe. Let me get there, please?" He asks making eye contact with me, I couldn't help but get lost in his eyes and just adore his features. After a few seconds of me not answering he does that thing where he tilts his head when he's confused or focused.
"Okay, just know that I will be here whenever you need to talk. No matter what okay?" I say to him making the same eye contact.
"Okay." He simply states.
"Me and the guys made a groupchat, you want in?" I say grabbing my phone out of my pocket and holding it up.
"Yeah here." He says grabbing it and typing in his name and number.

Kairi's POV:
I put my phone down hearing the buzzing. I look at Mattia and see him typing on his phone.
"Hey I'm gonna shower before lunch and stuff." I say loud enough to get his attention. The program we're in doesn't have class until after 4 and it's only 11 and we have lunch at 1.
"Okay, are you feeling any better bub?" He says getting up to hug me.
"Yes Tia, I'm okay. Don't worry, remember what we said." I say to him hugging him back.
"I know, I'll be out here. I'm gonna watch some netflix okay?" I hear him say with a slight smile and a deep blush?
"Okay Tia I'll be right back." I say to him while grabbing my towel.
"Mhm okay bubb, I'll be rig-." He stops. I hear light soft snores and turn to see him laid on his side bunched up in a blanket and his laptop in front of him. He was watching call me by your name?
"This boy is perfect, wow." I say admiring the boy in front of me, taking in all of his features. I thought he couldn't hear me but boy was I wrong. I walk to the bathroom, but I was still thinking about him.
He's perfect, his hair falling just above his eyes. His lips, they look like they taste so sweet, his skin looks so soft, perfectly imperfect.
His eyes even closed , I knew were deep pools of honey waiting for me to get lost in.
Mattia's POV
I couldn't help but have a small smile on my face, he felt that way? Wow, I blush slightly. He's in the bathroom now so he can't see me. I heard him though, (read below) I hear soft singing coming from the bathroom. He sounded angelic. That was the last thing I heard before I drifted to sleep waiting for him to finish.
