Kairi's POV
I wake up to the sound of the DREADFUL alarm and groaned out loud.
"Tia, wake up bubba." I say softly shaking the boy next to me. I wait a few seconds but only get a groan in response while his grip tightens on my waist.
Is he gay?
He's holding me..
Kai, just ask me bubba...

"Mattia? Um what was that?" I question.
"What was what angel?"  He says clearly smirking and acting as if he doesn't know. So he just gets to what read my thoughts?! I get no kind of warning? Wait can he hear me now? How can he hear me? I have so many questions!
"Kai Kai, calm down please." He says turning me to look at him.
"Listen, I'm going to tell you something okay?" He starts looking at me for approval. I nod slowly looking in his eyes, I wasn't scared or freaked out. I wasn't even nervous, if anything I was excited and just wanted to learn more. It didn't freak me out only because I've noticed many strange things happening with my mom and even myself. There's been times where I've heard my mom whispering, or I've seen her "researching" something in secret. I just wanted to lose more, in my head I called it my own little twilight world. Dumb I know, but I liked it so I just kept it. It made it more sane for me to imagine or more sane for me think about. You guys know heaven and hell right? Angels and demons, halos and thorns, wings and tails, god and devil, jesus and Lucifer. Yeah all of that? I think it's real.
"Okay Kai, I'm going to say this and I need you to stay calm. Don't get scared." I can see that he was clearly nervous and so I touched his hand to show him it was okay to continue.
"Oh!" I yell out in shock as I touched his hand and I felt this weird pull to him, like I was extracting a feeling from his body. My body felt on fire.
That one little touch ignited something and I couldn't tell what. I cleared my throat signaling him to continue.
"So I'm... uh the son of Lucifer." He stutters out playing with the strings of his grey Nike hoodie looking down.
"Oh" I simply state. I was okay with it, he wasn't going to hurt me and yes I know everyone says that blah blah blah but listen, I can see it when I look at him that he truly is a good person? Demon? He's just good. He means well and I mean look at him he's HOT! Okay n e wayz.
"Oh? Is that bad? I can understand if you are weirded out freaked out or something like that." He says getting disappointed.
"No no brown eyes, listen it's okay. I'm okay with it, I really am." I reassure him.
"Y-you are?" He asks me.
"Yes." I nod.
"How?" He looks at me with this adorable lost yet happy face.
"Look at me, do you see yourself ever hurting me? Can you see me in any danger with you?" I make direct eye contact with him.
"No, not intentionally but who's to say what will happen?"
"We will be fine, even if something were to happen we can work it out together." I say getting up.
"Now let's go meet the boys for lunch, we can talk about it later?"
"Okay okay let's go." He says chuckling.

"Hey dumb fucks!" I say walking up to the table with Kairi by my side sitting down.
"Hey bitch, your guys room done?" Roshaun asks me.
"Nah I didn't even get the rest of my suitcases, I only have that one book bag I need to get the rest later." I say lazily.
"Lazy ass!" Alvaro yells at me
"LaZy aSs!" I mocked him while hitting him upside the head. Ale and the rest of the boys burst into laughter and Alvaro clearly looks annoyed.
"You're an ass." He says rubbing the spot I just hit on his head.
"Who?"
"Who what?"
"Who asked? I don't give a fuck shawty." I say eating my fries. The rest of the boys are just laughing their asses off and Alvaro just shrugs me off with a "whatever."
"Bro this food smacks." Ale says with a mouth full of his chicken sandwich.
"Okay one ew we don't need to see it and two, you right." Robert says eating his pizza.
Kais not eating and I asked him if he was hungry or I offered him some food from my plate but
"I'm not hungry." Was all he said to me. I couldn't force him so I just said okay and kept walking and talking with him.
"You guys are disgusting." Kai says referring to the two boys sloppily eating. They both just shrug and continue eating.
"What are your guys first class?" I ask the guys.
"I have economics." Alvaro says.
"Lectures." Kai sighs. Haha I bet that sucks.
"Studio." Roshaun speaks up.
"I have independent study." Robert says.
"Hey me too bro!" I say dapping up Robert.
"Bet, wanna walk with me?"
"Hell yeah!" I respond while drinking my water.
"I have seminars." Ale says reading a small paper.
I don't know why but I can't shake this feeling that I've known Ale before, that we're closer than we both think. This group was something different, what kind of different? That's what we weren't prepared for....
