Chapter 4

  "And that's how it is." I ended, I observed the two boys for any reaction, I then looked to Izu, "Actually I'm surprise you didn't know..." he whipped his head to me, "W-Well, we never met your parents!" I laughed, "Yea, I guess, Kacchan you good?" I looked over to the boy, he just looked like he was thinking, then Inko opened the door, we all looked at her, "Your grandmother is her y/n!" As she left my face darkened and my mood got worse, I growled lowly as I stood up, I felt the two boys watch me leave, they soon followed, I started down the stairs but halfway down I stopped, making eye contact with the hag, she had a wicked smile on her face, I ignored her and we all sat down for dinner, my hag sat next to me and Kacchan sat on the other side of me, we all chatted, except my grandma and me, even Kacchan was talking, well more like disagreeing and screaming, I finished eating and joined the conversation, occasionally looking at my Grandma who was silent, just observing, the fact that she was calm was unnerving, we all finished and chatted for a while more before it started getting late and we needed to leave, I waved bye to the family, "Bye guys! I'll see you tomorrow!" They all waved back, "Bye loser!" Kacchan screamed as I shut the door, I laughed at him in the night air, I looked at my Grandma, she looked....sad? I sucked in a breath and turned to her, "Hey..." I placed a hand on her shoulder, "Are you ok?" She yanked her shoulder from under my hand, "Don't touch me." She demanded as she started walking home, I sighed and followed her, we got home and it was starting to get dark, we got in and I changed into a sports bra and a loose T-shirt with some black sweatpants, I then walked downstairs to get a drink, as I was passing my Grandma's room I heard her crying, I sighed and knocked on her door, it was probably the fact that she missed my parents, she did this pretty often, "Are you-" "Go to the store and get milk, money's on the counter." I sighed, knowing I just got milk, she just wanted me out of the house, I went back to my room and slid on a black hoodie, I headed downstairs and grabbed the money, I walked outside into the frosty air and shoved the money in my pocket and started off, when I got there, I walked into the small convenient store, I walked in and headed to the candy section, I grabbed a snickers and some skittles, as I was walking to the front my eyes made contact with a small packet of beers, only four in a pack, I've had beer before and I like it, I got drunk the time I had it and it was awesome, I smile as I recalled the memories of that night, my friend brought the beer so I don't know how she got it, I thought for a moment before getting an idea, I've never done it before but it's worth a try, I walk back down a hidden aisle and shift into what I believe is a witch, meaning I have powers, I've never done this before and it was draining my energy fast, I waved my hands in front of me, sommoning a fake ID, I changed back before checking it, I lean on the wall for support as I look at it, the girl on there looked just like me, but it said I was older, and it looked real, I smiled and wobbled back up to the front, there was no line, I grabbed the beer and went to the counter, I smiled at the man and handed him my ID, he looked me up and down before scanning the items and giving them to me, as he placed the snickers in a bag I heard a voice, "Y/n?" I stopped and slowly turned to look at Kacchan, what is he doing here?! "Oh, hey bro, why are you here?" I tried my best to hid the beer behind my back, it was still on the counter so it was kinda hard, "My old hag said to get food.....IS THAT BEER?!" Shit! I turned around and grabbed the beer and ran out, I headed around a corner and turned around, I waited, he didn't come, I smiled and started home, I got in and headed to my room, when I passed Grandma's room there was no sound, I ignored it and continued to my room, I sat down by my bed and turned on some music, I turned it up and blasted it, I popped open a beer and started drinking, going through my phone as well, soon there was a small knock on the front door, I barely heard it, I sighed and got up, not bothering to turn off my music I headed downstairs, I opened the door and on the other side, low and behold, was a very pissed Kacchan, I stared at him for a moment before smiling and tilting my head, "How did you find where I live?" Ignoring the fact that he was here to talk about what happened, he growled, "I followed you." I laughed, "Creepy mu-" "What. The. HELL. Was. THAT?!" I shook slightly at his loud voice and how mad he looked, "W-Well I-" he scoffed and pushed past me and into my house, "WOAH! Where are you going!?" He ignored me and walked to my room, I slammed the door and followed him up, when I found him he was standing in my doorway waiting for me, when I got up there he scoffed and walked in, he smashed my speaker with an explosion, "YO! WHAT THE HELL?!" I ran up to the speaker, he pointed to the two half drunken bottles on the ground, "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!? YOU WERE JUST AT MY HOUSE AND YOU SEEMED FINE, THE FUCK?!" He started pacing my room, cursing, "Kacchan..." I tried, he held a hand up to me, stopping me, "You've got me damned if you think I'm gonna listen to you right now, under aged drinking, really y/n? I thought you were better than that..." tears stung at my eyes, "Kacchan please..... you have to understand that-" he cut me off again, "Fuck..." he grabbed his hair, "I just can't..." "Your making to big of a deal out of this." I spat, now getting irritated, "Making to big a deal out of this? YOU'RE TRYING TO BECOME A HERO Y/N! YOU CAN'T JUST DO THIS!"

"WELL IF YOU HAD MY LIFE YOU'D DO IT TOO!"

"LIKE HELL! YOUR LIFE ISN'T THAT BAD!"

"YOU CAN'T SEE BEHIND CLOSED DOORS KACCHAN! MY LIFE IS SHIT! YOU REALLY THINK I TOLD YOU EVERYTHING AT IZUKU'S?? WOW, I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE THAT STUPID!"

"BITCH I-"

"NO, SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GET OUT OF MY DAMN HOUSE BAKUGO!" 

He looked hurt at the fact that I called him Bakugo, he sneered to hide it, he turned and slammed the door, stopping downstairs and just before he left he screamed, "YEA, ENJOY YOUR DAMN BEERS, I HOPE THEIR WORTH LOSING A FRIEND!" He slammed the door, I collapse the floor, crying, my head in my hands, I stumbled out of my room, I ran to my Grandma's room, crying uncontrollably, I banged on her door, "Grandma please! Please I need you! I love you! Open up!" I continued to cry, she didn't respond, that's when I noticed the foul odor coming from her room, my eyes widened, no...NO! I started banging on her door, "GRANDMA!? COME ON ANSWER ME!" No response, I transformed into a bear and rammed my body into the door, once, twice and then it broke, I changed back and looked around the room, and there was my grandma, dead, on the floor, bloody knife in hand, slit throat and blood everywhere, she had a small note clutched in her other hand, I screamed, collapsing beside her, I screamed and sobbed, I shook her and yelled at her, I shook as I took the note out of her grasp with shaky hands, it read; 

Dear Y/n

    I'm sorry to leave you on your own now, it pained me to see your mother and father's friends, and tonight I realized how much I need them, so I did this, I love you and please do me one thing, become a hero, the greatest you can be, I will protect you in the heavens the best I can, take my necklace, I love you so much, none of this is your fault, goodbye granddaughter.

I stared at the note, I started screaming, "NO! COME BACK! YOU CAN'T LEAVE! WE NEED TO FIX THIS! ALL OF THIS! WE ARGUED TO MUCH! I NEED TO APOLOGIZE! I SHOULD HAVE NEVER WENT TO THE MIDORIYA'S FOR DINNER! THIS IS ALL MY FAULT! IM SO SORRY!" I laid my head on her chest, apologizing over and over, after a long while I pulled my head up, I shakily unlocked her necklace and slid it on my own neck, 

I looked at her one last time before standing up, I ran out of her door and down the stairs, I kept running, and running, before I knew it I was outside of Izu's house, I banged on their door, even though it was around 1 in the morning, Inko opened the door, she rubbed her eyes tiredly, but when she say my crying shaking form she snapped awake, "Oh my god... what happened!? Come in come in, IZUKU!" She ushered me in and onto the couch, Izu came running down the stairs, he saw me and rushed over, "What happened!?" He hugged me while I sobbed, we sat hugging while his mother made us tea, she came back and rubbed my back, I calmed down and turned to them, explaining my whole night, not caring if they told the police I was under age drinking, the fight with Kacchan, my grandma, I pulled the note out of my pocket and showed it to Inko, she read it and her eyes widened, she handed the note to Izu and she hugged me, soon Izu was hugging me to, we sat for a while before, Inko started, "Well, you can stay here with us, Izuku will share his room, I have a spare futon you can use until we get you a bed, I will call the police and inform them of the situation, don't worry, I'll leave out the drinking, I need you to stay up until they get here though," I nodded, she got up and called the police, I sat drinking my tea while huddled up to Izu, he wrapped a fluffy blanket around me and got up, I sat emotionless on the couch, sipping my tea, soon Inko hung up and she stayed in the kitchen to talk to Izu, after a few minutes there was flashing red and blue lights outside and a knock on the door....
