Chapter 5

There was a knock on the door, Inko rushed to get it, two police men were standing outside, we welcomed them inside, they both stood in front of me, "We didn't get much information on the phone, we are gonna need you to come with us to the station." I nodded and tried to stand, I was weak though, one of the officers helped me while the other talked to Inko and Izu, as I was walking out I made eye contact with Izu, I tried to give him a reassuring smile, but all that came out was a broken glance, I sat in the back of the police car, we got to the station and they questioned me, I explained everything, except the drinking, I just said I went to the store and got food, I showed them the note and read over it, telling me I could keep it but they needed a photo of it for evidence so this doesn't look like a murder, I agreed and as a person took photos of it they explained what was gonna happen, "So you are free to live with the Midoriya's, we will be examining the house tonight, you can get any stuff you need in the morning, I nodded and stood up, they escorted me out, I saw Izu and his mom, I walked up to them panicking, "I left the bottles in my room! I'm gonna go to my house real fast and dispose of them!" Before they could respond I transformed into a hawk and started on my way, it was a race against time as I saw police cars already making their way to my house, I made it there minutes before they did, I unlocked my window and jumped into my room just as the front door was unlocked, I quickly grabbed all the bottles and the package and I jumped out the window, I tumbled when I got to the ground,  I ran into the woods behind my house and threw the bottles into a hole, coving them in dirt before changing back into a hawk and flying to the Midoriya's, I changed back and knocked on the door, Inko whipped the door open, she looked panicked, she calmed down when she saw me, she ushered me inside, she then placed her hands on my shoulders, "I know you probably don't want to, but I'm gonna need you to try and sleep tonight, I'll give you some sleep pills while I set up the futon, ok?" I nodded slowly, she smiled, "Good," she handed me some pills and a cup of water, then she walked off to Izu's room, I took the pills and sat on the couch, I wrapped the blanket back around me and sat, I started getting sleepy, soon I felt Izu's strong arms pick me up and carry me to my futon, he set me down gently and took the blanket from around me, he draped it over my small body and climbed into his own bed, soon I fell asleep.....

Y/n....

I turned to face the voice, I was in a void, nothing but black emptiness,

Y/n....

I tried again to find the voice, but all I found was my dead grandmother on the ground, I ran to her, "NO!" Soon whispers started..."Your fault" one said, "she never loved you." Another said, then I heard Kacchan's voice, "YEA!" My head shot up to look at him, "K-Kacchan?" I stared at him, tears streaming down my face, "ENJOY YOUR DAMN BEERS!" Then just like that I was surrounded by empty beer bottles, I looked back up to Kacchan, but he was gone, "I HOPE THEIR WORTH LOSING A FRIEND!" His voice echoed around me, I blocked my ears, "NO! DON'T LEAVE ME TOO!" The whispers continued, "KACCHAN! GRANDMA! MOM! DAD! WHY ME!? WHAT DID I DO? DON'T LEAVE ME!" I clutched my Grandma's shirt as I laid on her, then there was a loud *BOOM*  I looked behind me and there was Kacchan, dead on the floor, a huge burn mark on his chest, he had committed suicide too....

"NO!" I screamed, holding my hair by the roots, "NO KACCHAN- NO NO NO! YOU CANT- KACCHAN! YOU CAN-" I was cut off when arms were wrapped around me, I looked at the boy beside me, I shoved him off, "NO! IZUKU! YOU NEED TO SAVE KACCHAN! I CAN SAVE GRANDMA BUT YOU HAVE TO SAVE KACCHAN! HE- HE HATES ME! HE WON'T-" "Y/n....." I looked at him, "NO! YOU-" Inko burst through the door, "What's wrong!?" I looked at her, "IZUKU WON'T SAVE KACCHAN!" I watched her, convinced she would side with me, she looked at Izuku, he sighed, "I think she had a nightmare.... she- she forgot her grandma....." I looked at him, "What happened to my-" I cut myself off, the events of the night coming back, I started hyperventilating, I looked around the room quickly, "Hey y/n calm down, it's ok, Kacchan's fine, he's fine," Izuku comforted me, I calmed down as he slowly laid me back down in the futon, he tucked me in and shooed his mom out of the room, I slowly closed my eyes but just as I was about to sleep the picture of my grandma flashed into my mind, my eyes shot open, this happened a few more times before I gave up and quietly got up, I walked downstairs and turned on the kitchen light, I started brewing myself some coffee before looking at the time, 3:46, I sighed and waited, when the coffee was done I put in some creamer and sugar and sat down, I found my phone on the couch and started going through it, looking at random things on Pinterest, when I finished my coffee I checked the time, 4:01, I wasn't surprised it took me so long to drink the coffee, it did me nothing and I was still tired, I walked back into the kitchen and cleaned the cup before putting it away, I grabbed some crackers and sat back down, I was half awake when I noticed it was starting to get bright out, my eyes snapped open and I checked the time, 6:34, I sighed, realizing I got no sleep whatsoever, I walked to the kitchen and started making breakfast, knowing Izuku would be waking up soon, I finished making the pancake batter and just as I was putting it on the stove Izuku's alarm went off from upstairs, he must have heard me down here so he just finished getting ready, I finished the pancakes before he came down, so I played them, along with Inko's, then I cut up strawberries and put them in a bowl, then I put some blueberries in a separate bowl, I got out the syrup and whip cream and laced them all out, I checked the time, 7:06, Izuku walked downstairs, he saw the breakfast and walked over, "Did you......did you sleep at all last night?" I shrugged, meaning no, and he knew that, he sighed, he sat down and started eating, soon Inko came down and said good morning, she ate too, I stole a few bites from Izuku but that was it, I wan't that hungry, When Inko was done she stood up and checked the time, "Ok, I'm gonna put all this away, are you sure you want to go to school today y/n? You don't have to." I tried to smile at her, "No, it's ok, I just need to get my stuff, I'll get my uniform now and the rest of my stuff later." She nodded, "Ok, Izuku, please go with her," Izu nodded and we started out, as we neared my house my breath speed up, Izu grabbed my arm, stopping me, "Hey, are you ok?" I swallowed, "Yea, I'm fine, let's go." I yanked my hand out of his and continued, I walked up to one of the tired officers at the scene and told him who I was, he escorted me inside, I grabbed my uniform from my hamper and walked out, not grabbing a brush or anything, ignoring the many officers that looked at me oddly, I bowed to the officer and we left, we got back to Izu's house and I walked in and changed, I used his brush and deodorant as well, my stomach twisted at the fact that I needed to see Kacchan today, I really need to apologize though, I walked out of the bathroom and me and Izu left, we are now at the front gates of U.A. high.
