"How do you know about the ring?" I asked him out, been flabbergasted.
"Shehnaaz told me, why?" it perplexed him seeing my response, then shook his head. "She asked you not to share it with me." He smiled, and I gave a slight nod. "She didn't want her dad to know about it. He is very much traditional and won't appreciate her roaming around before rituals, that was the reason she wanted to hide from him." His words made sense, I had found him the same in our first meet. Her dad seemed quite a rigid personality but, he seemed innocent.
"I heard you went with her to repair the same ring which you selected for your moti." He chortled saying it, I smiled at him. "She was least aware that it was your chose and when I told her same, she got embarrassed." Raghav was laughing hard remembering her face, I was expressionless. "But the unpleasant news is she again broke it and will surely repair and give in to you, I told her how much that ring means to you. She was guilty and promised that she will go to Purab place and repair it." I jerk my head towards him with my eyes wide, appalled.
"No need!" I blurted out. He got stunned. Landing to Purab house meant chances to meet Guru, which would turn out troublesome.
"Why?" Raghav asked confused.
"I mean why to trouble her, I will do it myself. No need for her to go, just tell her to hand me the ring." Raghav was staring at me suspiciously, I just avoided his gaze.
"Why do I feel you're lying to me?" He gave me a skeptical look.
"I.. why would I?" I got nervous, "why would I?" I stuttered the same sentence twice.
"Your face speaks volume Sid, those eyes can't lie. I am watching from the day you came here. Every single moment you're lying, trying to run away. First I thought you just need time but now..." he paused for a second, trying to bring the correct words out. "I don't know Sid but I feel that you're repressing something from me and that is killing you from inside." He sounded dishearten, he was sad for the fact that I was concealing something from him.
I prevented eye contact with him, "there is nothing like such."
"Fine, if you don't consider me that significant to share your pain with me." I infuriated him, he stood up from the sofa, I looked at him. He gazed at me blankly and soon moved out of the room.
I wanted to interrupt him but at the same time couldn't unravel the truth. As the truth would only demolish him, I was fine with his bitterness but couldn't see him shattered. I smiled at my fate sadly, what else was in the store to witness?

I was lying on my bed thinking about my past.
### Past ###
"Kullu you won't go to the office, you're best." With that she again gifted me with one more kiss but this time on my nose and seeing my wide eyes, she cackled. And hugged me tightly, resting her head on my chest. I tighten my grip on her waist, with both my hands.
"Moti get down from me." I urged her but she didn't listen to me.
"I want to sleep," she muttered snuggling more into me.
I bend down to lay her down on the bed, she grabbed my shirt tightly in her fist. "No!" she cried out, I stared at her amazed.
"What? I am laying you down so you can sleep."
"But I want to sleep hugging you." She made a cute pout, melting me down. I bend again laying her on the bed, she was not reading to loosen her grip on my shirt.
"I am coming baby but let me change." As I was wearing a suit, I wanted to get into my comfortable wears.
"No" she nodded negatively, giving up I lay in those clothes. As soon as my back rested the bed, she again jumped on me. Resting her head back on my chest, she raised her head and stared at me. She moved her hand up and patted my cheeks. "Sleep baby," I chuckled seeing her acting like my mother. She was such a drama queen.
