CHAPTER 10: CLEARING MY MIND

Aashna's POV:

"Okay guys it was really good to know that you all know the basics, we will start from tomorrow looking into some improvements that can be made" Charles said and we all dispersed

I was wanting to compliment him for his singing but it didn't get the time to, as soon as I left the auditorium, he was again surrounded by girls and I walked with Neil

We went to the cafeteria for lunch, Neil went aside and sat next to his crush. Shurti too was sitting with her department friends and I was here alone, I took my food and sat down

Next to me sat Mr. headache. I don't know why, but I feel that he is a good person, we just started off a bad note. I guess he kind of noticed the awkward silence between us and decided to speak

"hey" he said

"hii" I respond

ugh, I hate small convo's! then make a move Aashna

I was about say something when a girl came and started talking to sanket, he seemed busy so I just continued to eat my food, he came back 2 mins laters

"listen nerd, can we get out of here?" he said

wait what? Why does he wanna go out? What will he do to me?

"hey, whats going on in that head of yours?" he said after I guess looking at the visible tension at my face

"nothing, but where do we go?" I asked

"leave that on me. Just stuff your food and mine in your bag, they are just sandwiches and red bull" he said and I did as he said I don't know why

we both keep our plate and go out, to the beach, a place in the beach that I thought only I knew

"oh my gosh, you could have told me. Its my favourite spot" I said in excitement and he laughed at my childishness

We sat on the rocks and i gave him his sandwich

"this is my favourtie place too, it has some unsual peace" he said

I agreed. But why is he so sweet to me all of a sudden?

"umm do u mind if I ask you something?" I said taking a bite out of my sandwich

"sure go on nerd" he said

ugh why does he call me nerd!

"I thought you hate me, so why did you bring me here? I think favorite places are visited either alone or with special ones only" I said and he laughed again

"I will be honest nerd, I never hated you. Hate is a big word, nor did I ever dislike you, this was all because we had a wrong start" he said finishing his sandwich

"look, I am really so.." he was about to say something

"...I am really embarrassed about just yelling over a bag the first day and throwing your air-pods away too, I wanted to talk to you earlier today as well but you were ignoring me" he said and looked at me

He looked at me, maybe expecting an answer but I was still sad about the air pods

"its okay though, you can still hate me, I don't care, I just wanted to clear my said" he said and got up

"no its not that" I said and he looked at me and sat back

"I don't hate you, though I did dislike you in the start to be honest, but today when I saw you sing, I realized that are you are good person by heart, I know" I said and he smiled
