CHAPTER 13: SHIFTED TOGETHER

Aashna's POV:

I never realised that Neil could do something like this, i mean sure i have been treated as shit before when he dated others girls, but he promised he wont repeat it this time, that we will always have each others back! I never knew he would backstab me, but today was just enough, i am never going to talk to Neil ever again

Tears were strolling down my cheeks, as if they weren't going to stop, it was hard to control but i had to get myself together, i just needed a quiet place to calm myself down, i have had fake friends and shitty people in my life  that now i have learnt the art of letting go of people easily, its just the pain then and it doesnt bother me later

I wish i could forget about Neil, since there were people everywhere so i decided to go to the library, thats usually empty except for weekends when there are a few people who come to get books

I sit down and put my head in my hands and allow myself to cry, atleast my pain will come out and not be bottled up in me. I wipe my tears after a while as i hear someone enter, it was Louis

I never thought i would do it but i needed to, i cant stay with him any longer! I asked Louis if i could get a single floor, though they were not empty, they were available but after bookings, the spare stuff was shifted in the empty floors

But i guess looking at my condition, he decided to get one emptied but it would take time, i was happy that later i would get my own space

But i didnt want to stay there, where will i go now?

"She can stay with me" i heard a familiar voice "until she gets her dorm" it was Sanket

I was shocked to see him help, within less than a week, he has become the bad boy here, who is arrogant and rude to other students

He looked at me and i tried to make an eye contact but I couldn't, i didnt want him to think i was weak, i wasnt! Its just that... ugh whatever

"Cool then, Aashna you can shift" louis said and put a hand on my shoulders and gave me a very gentle and warm look

"Those pretty eyes shouldn't cry" he said and left

I was left alone with Sanket and Shruti, she hugged me tight and it comforted me, hugs always did that magic for me, then Sanket also came and stood behind, while still hugging Shruti, i gave Sanket a weak smile and he smiled back, Shruti let go as her louie beeped

"I better get going, i have art class" she said and gave me another hug before leaving

"Be strong okay" she said to me

"And you please take care of her" she said to sanket and he smiled "sure madam"

I have started to like his smile

Now it was only us, alone in the library!

"You know i searched the entire campus for you and you were here" he said in the most gentle and calm tone that i have ever heard from him

I didn't know what to say, i was just looking down on the floor

"Hey, its okay! I was just kidding, though i did look for you everywhere" he said and gave me a warm hug. My head rested on his chest and his arms wrapped around me made me feel like the most secure person on earth

"So when are you shifting to my dorm?" He asked letting go the hug

" right now, if that's okay with you, i can't stand that guy for a second" i said with gritted teeth

"All cool, do you want me to help?" He asked

"No thanks, i can manage to face him" i said "i am strong" and he smiled "i never said you are weak"
