Natsu woke up, thankfully not in the mood to start crying or screaming. He didn't dream of anything too notable overnight besides food. He sat up in bed and looked to see Zeref still sleeping on the couch. He decided that he should call home since he didn't call them last night. He dug through the bag that he packed for the trip to the country. After pulling out some random items, some clothes, two wrapped watermelon halves, and some barf bags he finally found the communications lacrima. He rolled back to the middle of the bed holding the Lacrima above him before activating it. It rang for hardly a few seconds before the face of his friends and master Makarov appeared. 'Do they just sit next to this thing all day or something?' Natsu wondered. "Hey guys!" he smiled.

"Morning/Hey/Pyro/NATSU!" The group yelled. Happy seemed the most energetic, he figured he probably slept all day or just sat around the guild hall, trying to make Carla accept his fish.

"Why didn't you call last night!?" A certain redhead growled.

"Yeah! We were worried sick that something bad might have happened! We heard from the magic council that there was a terrorist attack on the palace!" Lucy exclaimed. Natsu cringed since the 'Terrorist' was him.

"Lucy, that was me, remember? I blew up that one wall." He reminded the blond.

"Ohh yeah... but STILL!" If it wasn't for the thousands of miles between them she would probably lunge for his throat.

"Calm down Lucy, flame brain is just being an idiot." A certain ice make wizard said blatantly but obviously trying to pick a fight.

"You wanna go Elsa!?" He yelled, forgetting that someone was sleeping on the couch.

"Maybe I do, but you're all the way over there cause you're so scared of me, lizard boy!" he retorted.

"You sure? I could beat you in a fi-"

"Naaaaatsuuu, Im sleeping can you keep it down. Pleaaaase!" Zeref whisper yelled, still half asleep, cutting Natsu off mid sentence.

"Ohh, sorry!" he whispered back apologetically. 'Crap I forgot he was here'

"Who was-" The master was cut off by Natsu shushing him but he continued quieter, "Who was that?".

"Ohh just Zeref..." he whispered into the Lacrima.

"WHAT!? WHY'S HE-" They shouted. Natsu covered the Lacrima with a pillow before they woke him up again. He looked over only to see his face show slight agitation before returning to a calm face you'd expect on someone who's sleeping.

He lifted the edge of the pillow and made a 'Shhh' sound, "Whisper or you're going to wake him up again!" He groaned. Slowly he lifted the pillow off the Lacrima and saw they all had their 'I'm mad, I want an explanation' faces on. "What?" he asked quietly.

"Why is he sleeping in your room?" one of his friends asked sounding a little pissed off.

"Cause I asked him to..." he replied sheepishly.

"Okay, but why." Another asked in the same tone.

Natsu didn't see a reason to lie to them so he answered honestly, "I had a bad dream so I asked if he would stay." There was silence, he assumed they wanted to know more about what happened. He contemplated telling them about what happened when he first woke up from the nightmare and sighed, then proceeded to explain. "When he woke me up, or when I woke myself up... okay that part isn't entirely clear, anyway, I grabbed onto him and started crying without knowing who it was and he, I guess, comforted me. I fell asleep again then he fell asleep on the couch in case it happened again. Then I woke up, started punching him, realized it was him..." he continued up until the point before where he asked him to stay since he didn't want to sleep alone in a room. "But before he could leave I grabbed his arm and asked him if he could stay on the couch again so I'd feel, uh, safer..." he sighed then fell onto his back, his elbow hurt from propping himself up on it for the past five minutes. "And then I fell asleep, woke up, called you, and you know the rest. Any questions?" He said quickly.
