"Zewef!" A voice yelled. Zeref looked up from his book and smiled when he saw his little brother running towards him.
"What is it, Natsu?" He asked the younger Dragneel.
"Wake up!" He giggled.
"Huh?" He cocked an eyebrow.
"Wake up! It's morning!" He giggled even harder.
"Wh-" Zeref awoke to being shaken violently. "Huh!?"
"Finally! I've been shaking you for like five minutes!" His brother grinned widely.
"What- why?" He asked groggily.
"I wanted to know about breakfast!" He said with wide excited eyes. Zeref groaned before turning over.
"Just call your friends or something, and let me sleep for a bit, unlike you I had to stay up the entire trip because someone just had to be petted or else they'd throw up...!" He mumbled groggily while readjusting his blankets. Natsu huffed before turning back around and walking to his bed. Natsu layed back down, but didn't call his friends. Instead he just watched Zeref's back and did the action known as 'thinking'. He kept running what he knew through his head, which wasn't much sadly. But it was enough to get started. After a while Zeref turned around and opened one eye, "Are you just gonna stare at me all morning?".
"Why not?" Natsu sighed. "I'm hungry...! Can we go and eat?"
"We're going out in about half an hour, then we're gonna have to find a taxi to take us to the plantation this evening."
"It's already evening..." Natsu pouted.
"What?" Zeref looked over to the room's clock and gasped. "Shoot! I didn't set my clock to the right time zone!".
"So you mean... we could've had food already!?" Natsu asked angrily. Zeref gulped before sitting up and then putting his legs over the side of the bed.
"Well, you see..." Zeref bolted for his bag and ran for the bathroom. Escaping his hangry brother. "Sorry!". There was a thump on the door and then a pained groan.
"Why is the door so hard...", Zeref giggled quietly then began to change. He decided to skip showering as he had one the night before. When he opened the door his brother was missing. Of course after a moment's confusion he leaned back and Natsu's body flew past him and inside the bathroom. "Owww- Hey!" He yelled when he got hit in the face by his bag of his belongings.
"Change, then we can go and eat." Zeref said plainly like Natsu didn't just try and murder him, twice. He shut the door and heard a thump. Three times...
"Sure, sure..." Natsu surrendered, rubbing his head which was rammed into a door two times that morning. He changed quickly and they were out the door and on the streets of the trading town looking for a restaurant. They found a nice one that had good prices and dishes, plus seating inside where they could get away from the mildly crowded roads. Zeref ordered himself some type of noodles, which were vegan which delighted him as he 'didn't want to kill anything'. Natsu ordered... a bit of everything. "There's almost no meeeeeat!" He whined.
"It took you all this time to notice?" Zeref cocked an eyebrow.
"Notice what?" Natsu whined while looking at the unappealing plates of food, which he was still going to consume thoroughly.
"That most restaurants don't serve much meat." Zeref giggled at the face of shock plastered on his brother's face.
"Wh- what!? Why!?" He asked, he was looking extremely pale and it was a miracle Zeref didn't shoot his drink out of his nose.
