Screams of agony were heard throughout the lower levels of the palace as an interrogation was taking place. Dimaria of the Spriggan twelve smiling in satisfaction. "Please, stop!" A man cried as he was tied down to a metal table.

"Hmm, I don't think so..." The woman said, sounding innocent but causing the man to shake in fear. She walked around the gasping man smiling at his pain. "Unless of course," She placed one of her favorite toruter devices against his side, "You tell me what you were doing in the palace?"

He spit towards her, missing as she vanished, and appeared next to him opposite to where she was prior the man squirmed. "N-never!" He bucked against the restraints holding his wrists.

A small glint of amusement shone in her eyes, "Very well then..." she placed the tool against his skin, "looks like we'll be using this again..."

His eyes widened and he shook his head. "N-no!"

A smile crept across her face again, "Oh, but yes...". In the blink of an eye she began to move the... feather? "Tickle tickle tickle!" She chanted as she moved it across all of his sensitive spots. His sides, belly button, and underarms.

The man was laughing and gasping for air, completely at her mercy. This continued for what seemed like hours but most likely was only a few minutes, "Stop! Please!" He cried out, still breathing rapidly.

"Tell me what you were doing in the palace and maybe," She pulled out a second feather, "or this'll be more enjoyable for me" she placed the second feather on his jawbone causing him to freeze his head movements.

He withered slightly at the feeling of the second torture 'device'. 'Maybe I should tell her, this is excruciating!' He hissed, inside and out. 'No! I've dedicated years to this, for the plan to work! I'm not giving in because of this girl and two feathers!'.

After a few minutes of watching him gasp, cry, and laugh Dimaria began to grow bored. "Come on! Not even the emperor can last this long!" She whined. She noticed his breathing began to hollow and even. "Huh?"

She checked his face and saw that he had indeed passed out. "It seems that you weren't able to pull anything of use from him?" August asked.

Dimaria flinched at the sound of his voice. "I didn't hear you enter!" She said as she whipped herself around to face him. He didn't say anything so she continued, "No, he kept his mouth shut..."

He sighed and brought a hand up to his chin and scratched it, obviously in thought. "Well then, we should just keep him locked up and try this again another time. The emperor and the prince should be back in a couple of days..."

Dimaria facepalmed, "You know Zeref told us not to call Natsu 'Prince', not yet at least...". August shrugged, "That's gonna be one awkward conversation... plus if Invels able to hold himself back from saying that why can't you?" She asked.

It was true Invel had a scary level of formality practically engraved into his soul. The older male laughed gently, "You make a good point, but there's no harm saying it behind his back".

Dimaria grinned, he did make a good argument. Pissing off the emperor was always fun. Especially now that he's not as... upset... as he used to be. "Natsu really has changed him for the better, just his presence alone has made him a nicer person..." she thought aloud.

There was almost no hesitation in his reply, "Yes, he has indeed. I do hope he's okay with... his history. He does make the palace much more lively. It would be nice if he visited the emperor often,"

Dimaria nodded, "Yeah," After a moment she remembered a rumor she heard. "Did you hear about Zeref and Larcade? Apparently, there's a rumor going around, that he insisted that Larcade call him father. Since he found it strange when he didn't,"
