Me and Mrs. Carole continued walking around town. I was happy to get the job this fast, I smiled down at the little note Adelaide gave me for more information. Ephis was pretty crowded. People passing by us every second. The clouds still covered the sky, but the air was warm enough for you to sweat.

"One thing you need to learn now that you're grown, don't make a werewolf mad. If you mess with them, you won't be able to see daylight ever again." She warned.

"But how can I tell the difference between humans and werewolves?"

"Well, it's easy, they have a lot of body hair. And when I mean everywhere, I mean EVERYWHERE." She smirked, but I just find it weird and uncomfortable if you know what I mean.

She stopped me in my tracks making pay attention, "Don't worry you'll know when you see one. However darling, don't stare too much, their senses are strong, they can sense something a mile away, if you stare too much, they'll think of you as a threat." There is so much to learn, I can't keep up.

"One last thing..." Mrs. Carole continues walking making me follow like a little ducky.

"Body heat... a werewolf's body heat is burning hot. And I don't mean 'attractive hot', I'm talking about a painful, burning sensation that werewolves can control, it depends what situation they're in." I got goosebumps just by listening, I didn't know that they are such a danger to mankind.

We continued walking and looking around the small shops and cafes. I sweetly smiled at the townspeople and kids who have passed by.

There was a sudden breeze that quickly blew past me, the paper Adelaide gave me, flew out of my hand and gently landed on the cement. I told Mrs. Carole I'll be back.

I ran to grab my info paper, standing back up, I saw a man dressed in black, wearing a black cap that covered his face, walk towards me, once we bumped shoulders, I felt a cold breeze go up my spine. It felt like eating a mint, the chills surrounding my entire body. This feeling disappeared after we broke physical contact. He didn't say a word and continued walking. I stared at his back questioning what just happened. My body went back to a warm feeling, but I'm still confused, was it the air?

But that guy, when I made contact with him, it was cold, like a night in a graveyard. I can't explain this feeling, but it somehow seems familiar. I turned back around to Mrs. Carole.

I need to ask her, "Um Mrs. Carole, about vampires, do they have body heat too?"

She gave me a look on why I was curious. "No darling, they completely the opposite, they're cold as ice. Remember y/n, they're dead, they have no heat on them, most vampires have a cold personality, a heart made of stone. They will kill a person in a heartbeat, they don't care about us, we are their food. Their eyes can change to a bright shade of red, those eyes can mean multiple meanings: number one, they are ready to fight or kill, number two, they're angry, or number three,..... they're horny." My eyes widen.

"They're the most dangerous, I've seen them kill with no thinking and it has been terrifying." So I've connected the dots, that anonymus dude is most likely a vampire. You were shocked, but not scared. Somehow his presence seemed something you've met before.

"You remember how Adelaide has the power to read minds?" I nodded waiting for her to keep going.

"Not all vampires can read minds like her, the reason for this is because each and every vampire who walked this earth, has their own power." My mouth formed an 'o' shape, surprised. I'm getting really interested in them.

Mrs. Carole showed me the town fountain, I guess she wanted me to teach me more about this town. She sat me down on the bench and pointed at the fountain, "This fountain is very important." But I gave her a confused look.

However, she kneels down in front of me, "If you ever get bitten by a vampire, drink the water from that fountain." I couldn't believe it at first, but I pulled out of the syringes from my pocket, "Is this where-"

"Yes I did, but I haven't used these for awhile, these are mostly for you. You're fresh meat in this town." I felt a lump in my throat feeling a nervousness fill my mind, but Mrs. Carole just chuckled.

"You'll learn darling, soon... hopefully." She paused. The skies became a shade darker and the streets were beginning to clear up. "Now let's go back home darling, it's getting dark." She pulled me back up and began walking home.

As we started walking, I can sense a feeling of someone looking at me, I turned back around to see no one, but an empty town in my sight.

I squinted my eyes to keep looking, but the cool breeze from earlier came back. My hair went in my eyes, I blew it away and looked back at the town square.

That's when I saw the same red eyes from 1 month ago, "Wa-wait..." This means that it-it's a vampire.

"Y/n Darling, what happened?" I hear from behind me, I ran back to Mrs. Carole, covering up what I saw. I became scared.

Who is that person?

So basically these first few chapters are just the basic info on what you need to know before I actually begin the story LOL hope it all makes sense.
