I eyed the plate of food in front of me, then I looked up to meet Mrs. Carole's glare. I awkwardly smiled and slowly dug in the food.

"What is going on with you Y/n?" I heard her mumble out.

"Huh?"

Her eyes pierced my soul, she will be pissed if she finds out I have vampire friends, including being in a friends with benefits relationship with a vampire. "You 'now what I'm talking about missy. Going out late at night, and not coming back til early morning. I'm getting worried about you." Her elbows rested on the table leaning in to see my face.

I gaze fell to the food. Maybe if I tell her, she would be understanding... right?

She's friends with Adelaide who is a vampire, she wouldn't be mad if I hang out with a couple of vampires right? She's always understanding, I'm sure she will love it.

"It's just that..." I hesitated. The words slowly coming out of my mouth.

"You see, um well..." I saw Mrs. Carole's eyebrow twitch up waiting for me to talk. Damn she is looking really intimidating right now.

I can only think bad thoughts, if I told her about Jungkook, she would never step out of the house, or she would follow me around like a body guard. I can't tell her this, I'm so stu-

"I have a date."

I'm a stupid idiot who is a complete dumbass. Why would I say that? I wanted to slap myself.

"A date? Meaning that you met someone?" She crossed her arms and stared me down. I nodded my head and her chin slightly lifted up.

"And was this someone the person you've been hanging out with these past weeks?" I slowly nodded, waiting to see hear her answer. I was praying that she would not ask who it is.

"Who is this 'someone'? Is he hot?" She smirked and took a bite out of her plate, my jaw dropped seeing how she is so interested. However, I had to make everything on the spot.

"He doesn't live in Ephis, but he visits here all the time though. That's why I've been out a lot, he comes to Ephis to spend time with me." I nodded my head being proud of my response. I smiled looking at her expression.

"He sounds very sweet." She surprisingly smiled back.

Well he isn't... he's a total jackass.

"He is! But he's a very shy person and isn't very sociable with people, especially elders *cough cough* who live in Ephis." Mrs. Carole's reaction seemed very unusual. I couldn't read her face. I have to make Jungkook a secret.

I wish I could leave him, but he always comes sneaking back to see me. He won't leave me alone. At first, I thought it was annoying, but actually, I've gotten used to his presence, but he is always a damn tease.

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at Mrs. Carole. There was a silence, I think she is onto something. Was I too obvious? I'm totally screwed.

There was sweat slowly forming on my forehead, it was getting hot from the anxiousness and the awkwardness. I waited.

But as the silence kept going on, she simply picked up the two empty plates.

"It's okay sweetheart. Men are always weird." She smiled again and walked to the kitchen leaving me breathless and relieved.

Oh fuck thank god. I let out a heavy sigh. The relief wash over my emotions. Before anything else happened, I hurried up the stairs and locked myself in my room.

I crashed down on the bed feeling a sense of happiness crawl up to my face leaving me in a wide smile.

"That was close." I heard a rough voice, I jumped up looking at my window to see his figure.

"What are you doing here!" I tried to whisper so Mrs. Carole wouldn't hear me.

"I came to see you of course, the reason being because you haven't told me your answer about our date." Jungkook crossed his arms over his broad chest. I rolled my eyes laying back down on my bed feeling sleepy.

"Can I tell you my answer tomorrow? I'm tired. So can you please go?"

"Baby, you can't leave me hanging like this, I want to know now." He stepped closer to my bed.

I let out a frustrated grunt, "What if I don't want to go, huh?" I sat up to face him. There was a silence that creeped up between us.

In a swift motion, his body was laying roughly against mine, his knee gently moving against the fabric covering my flower.

My breath got stuck in my throat as I let out a soft whimper from his touch.

"Then you will leave me no choice, but to persuade you..." His head was close to my neck, his soft lips gently caressing the nape of my neck. He soon picked a spot and harshly sucked on it, I covered my mouth and let out a groan.

"Sexually..." I could sense his devilish smirk against my neck, but I won't do this with him again. I sat up, pushing him away.

"Fine, then I have one answer you." I watched him lean against the wall staring at the faded purple mark he made. I could tell that he wanted me badly, and I won't let him get into my head easily.

"I'll go." I innocently smiled, Jungkook smiled back, feeling pleased by my answer.

"Good. I'll pick you up after work tomorrow." He walked to my window and completely vanished in a blink of an eye.

Once he left, I felt the tension leave my body. I groan in annoyance.

I hate my life.
