LETTER TO WALT WHITMAN!...

To my favourite and wonderful poet
A letter to you as I felt,

Now speaking to you with guilt
“I Too” am a lover of nature.

So meagre and contradict a creature
Loving all of your ferry’s feature,

We all have made a great flaw,
Linking ourselves to the chief's claw,

Having spoilt all your ferry’ s beauty
Praying now for flow to the deity,

We reign remorse at his feet,
To  deduce the haunting heat.

We cut trees as though  it is a part-
Of life and now have a grave heart.

At last we failed to keep the glory
Which you adored as FERRY...
