Once upon a time I was Trent,
Flowed fast without any hunt,
Now turned as stagnant pool,
Just cause of the act of a fool.
Who made my world shun,
He really was very cun,
Who shredded all my purity,
There was no one for surity.
No one heard my hue or cry;
Everyone saw me as wretch,
I searched for truth to fetch,
But fortune showed it's back,
That caused everything hack.
Between all the writhe & wrung,
Disgust let my face hung,
Covered by the shadow of death,
(Like the Lethe) I pressed the truth;
Inside my litter box.
I made up my mind to achieve,
Rather than merely think and grieve,
My life was once undiscovered island;
But now known even by a mean man...-Devimanju Mohan
