Chapter 6~ She got in

It was Nanami's turn to be enrolled. After waiting in the line for more than an hour...she stepped her foot inside the main gate of the castle. She thought to herself, she must bring back Peru to her papa anyhow.

A temporary tent was made just near the gate, and Nanami saw all the people in the line going inside the tent. She followed them and observed her surrounding. There were four armies inside the tent.

One of the army was sitting inside the tent in a chair and writing the names and other details of those who entered inside, after he enrolled them, they were divided into two lines- male and female. Two armies, a man and a woman were doing physical check up of the people in the line who were standing respective to their gender in separate tents. Nanami saw that after the physical check up, some of the people in the line who were rejected were made to leave the place, many cried leaving. She kind of pitied them. She also saw that those who were accepted, were guided by an army standing near the exit of the tent where he was handing them something before letting them go out.

Seeing all these she wasn't sure if she would be accepted. Nanami was about to turn 13 in just two days. She was indeed very young and short but when people hear her speak, they would often confuse her to be a young adult who looked like a kid. Nanami was a quick witted, curious, generous, loyal, kind hearted and a mentally matured child. She would think and speak beyond a normal girl her age would be thinking or doing. She had short hair and her eyes were deep black in colour and sometimes when people look at her eyes, they can't help feeling enchanted by her gaze. But she was a tomboy, growing up with Peru, she somehow wanted to be like him, a man. Kato treated them both equally but sometimes Nanami observed that man lived their lives without restrictions. They would travel around the three prominent Kingdoms and challenge the rules or discover something new and make a name for themself. She didn't want to be an ordinary girl. She always thought one day she would make her papa and brother proud of her and do great things out in the world ....

While she was thinking about all these....the person infront of her moved ahead for the physical check up and she was now in front of the army sitting on the chair. The army didn't looked up to see her. He was busy trying to write down her details.

Army : What is your name and age?

Nanami: I am Nanami and I am 20 yrs old.

Suddenly the army looked up....Nanami was scared and thought if he noticed that something was off. She was nervous so she just started blabbering nonsense out...

Nanami: Hey, you know what, I might look young but I just turned 20 this year. Girls from Sanatan rarely age.... one might think I am still a kid but....

The army still looking at her said, "Stop talking....you....."

Just then the siren went off.... The army looked outside the tent and so did Nanami and the rest of the people in the line.... Everyone was scared because they knew if the siren ever goes off, it can only mean, a city inside the Kingdom was under attack. The last time the siren went off was 13 years ago just a month after Kato found Nanami, when Emerald city was attacked by spies of King Helli's Kingdom, however, King Severus fought back in time and won the war and beheaded King Helli in Emerald and took over his Kingdom. Emerald city then became the most important and safest city in King Severus's Kingdom after he announced that all important trades and selection of cassiva's or armies would be only carried out in Emerald city.....but now Nanami felt her heart sank....she clearly heard few hours back that the Armies would let the siren go off once the cassivas were to be done soon inside with their work, she was worried about her papa's safety and prayed for her papa to be safe.

The army told Nanami to move ahead quickly..... she was shocked.... but she thought maybe the army was rushing the process now because of the siren, so this was her chance to move ahead. She quickly nodded without looking at his eyes.

Nanami didn't see any girls behind her so she thought after the check up, she could directly exit the tent.

The woman army called Nanami to get inside the tent and told her to strip off her clothes. Nanami was shocked and blushed but she quickly stripped off her clothes, the army observed her body and finally asked her....."Are you really 20 years old? Your boobs are not developed properly and your pubic hair are not grown.....you look like a teen...

Nanami: 😳

She was trying to think what to say quickly...when the second siren went off.....and a handsome male cassiva with long blonde hair quickly got inside the tent where she was. He saw her ...naked ...but he turned his head around immediately after realising what he just saw....and told the woman army he has an an urgent message.. so he just barged in and that he was sorry to Nanami....

Both Nanami and the woman army were shocked, Nanami felt her body become hot in an instant and felt vulnerable.... the woman army told Nanami to quickly wear her clothes and head inside before Nanami could say anything.

Nanami quickly dressed up and headed towards the army standing near the exit sign, her cheeks were pink because she was blushing so much. She didn't try to look at the Cassiva in the tent and just bolted out.

The Army in the exit gave her two maple leaves, one green and the other orange and opened the tent and told her to get inside the castle.

Nanami took it and dinally came out of the tent.... She saw a big compound and an even bigger Castle at the middle. She was dumbfounded, she thought to herself.... she got in???? Who would have thought....that the siren and the cassiva who just entered the tent would help her get inside finally. She was happy and sad at the same time but she thought that now she should only move forward. The Armies and Cassivas would be leaving for Sanatan soon and they will save her papa and the people in Sanatan. She had complete faith in them. She just wouldn't think otherwise because if she did...she wouldn't make it inside the castle.

She took a deep breath in, lifted her chest up and moved inside the Castle with a smile on her face and with the two leaves in her hand.
