Chapter 25~ Nanami saw the King

The next day...the King arrived at the Emerald City along with dozens of personal armies and caasivas protecting him.... Penewich and the Priest accompanied him as they entered throught the gate.....Master Chobyo and Master Samara along with the teachers bowed at the King and welcomed him.

King Severus was know for being a kind and hunble and a wise man....he had supernatural powers beyond anyone's dream. He truly waa a powerful man...

The teachers had made a big stage for him at the field where he could see the practice of the new students.....the King sat down on his chair in the middle of the stage....his cassivas sat beside him....the masters and teachers sat on chairs below the stage.

Chobyo called out the students to come to the field....and the students came at once and stood in line....and bowed at the king...

The King ...asked Penewich...which girl was the one with 4 colours... Penewich pointed her out.... The King then observed her nicely....she just looked like a petite young kid...nothing out of ordinary......

The King: Hello! Students! Today I came here with the intention to not only see your performance but to select one student whom I can train myself.

The students gasped.

The King: Today, you won't be dueling with each other but with my personal Cassiva .... Rune...!!!

The teachers looked at the King...Rune was one the King's personal cassiva, he was a good swordsman, the students won't stand a chance against him...Chobyo wanted to say something but stopped..

Nanami was staring at the King....this was the first time she saw him...seeing him...she could feel her rise anger within her. She looked down.

Oto: Nana chan!!!

Nanami (In her mind): What???

Oto: Nana chan..... we  can't use our potential to the fullest today ..

Nanami: Why???

Oto: Its a trap......I feel danger...

Nanami: Okay... I understand...

The King: Ofcourse he won't be using his full potential, but just enough to injure you if you can't defend yourself.... then he smiled...

The students were afraid but were determined to be selected....

One by one they started duelling... and Rune was injuring them as he kept on defeating them..

Nanami couldn't help but feel anger towards the King...he was ruthless..she wanted to punish him...she grabbed oto harder...

Oto: Nana chan ...control ..your emotions...

Nanami: but he is injuring them....

Oto: Nana chan....they might be trying to make you angry

Nanami: They??? Who???

Oto: I am not sure!!! But I feel negative intentions towards you....

Nanami: ok

Its was Shiko's turn ...she fought well but when Rune increased his power but was defeated.

The injured students were being treated by Kaname.

The king was slightly impressed with her..

When it was Nanami's turn....everyone looked a bit more attentively... the King looked at her sword...it didn't change any colour. The King thought....the day finally came when the armedic turned out to be faulty.....

Nanami stood infront of Rune and bowed at him.... She unsheathed her sword and stood still.... Rune was surprised...the first student who didn't attack first....but he was a smart cassiva..he knew her intention....she just wanted to last longers by defending when I attacked. He didn't move too...he wanted her to attack....both of them stood still.
