Chapter 43~ First day of Class

It was already 7 and everyone had started learning about the principles of being a cassiva. Shiko was teaching them...it was her first class today. All the students were there except for Momo. Tomoe and Haru tried waking him up so many times but he was sound asleep. They didn't want to leave him but they didn't want to be late for their first class so they ended up leaving him at last. Kakashi counted the number of students and saw one was missing. He quickly noticed who it was. He went to the guest house with a bucket of water to awaken the sleepy person. But to his surprise when he opened the door he saw Momo was sitting upright and doing meditation in his uniform. He still poured the bucket of water on him nonetheless. Momo didn't open his eyes neither did he move. His clothes were wet and sticking to his body. Kakashi then kicked him from his back and Momo fell down. He finally opened his eyes as he laid in the ground.

Kakashi: So finally opened your eyes? Do you know what time it is?

Momo got up and sat on his bed. He looked around to find himself and his bed wet. He then looked at Kakashi but didn't say anything. His eyes became red and tears formed.

Kakashi: 😳😳😳

Momo's tears fell down his cheeks as he kept looking at Kakashi.

Kakashi didn't know what was going now. Why was this kid crying and staring at him?

Momo stopped staring at him and wipped his tears and went outside to the field with his wet uniform.

The students looked at his wet clothes and his face as he sat down next to Haru and Tomoe. Both of them asked him what had happened. But he kept quite and cried without making a sound. When a talkative and jolly person becomes silent all of a sudden, people tend to notice it. They were worried and so were the girls. They felt as if they were the one in pain looking at him.

Kakashi came out of the guest house and saw few of the students looking at Momo. He shouted silence!!! and the students stopped looking at him and started paying attention to Shiko.

Momo kept looking at the ground as he cried.

Kakashi looked at him the entire time Shiko was teaching. How could a guy cry so much he thought.... when students started leaving for lunch Momo sat still. Haru and Tomoe sat beside trying to talk to him. Few of the girls also came up to him but when he didn't reply they would move away and stare at him from a distance. Kakashi kept staring at him from a distance too.

The students started talking about it among themselves in the hall when Reo heard it. He came to the ground to look for Momo. He saw Momo sitting all sullen, his eyes were puffy from crying and his cheeks were red. Haru and Tomoe were trying to cheer him up beside him. He walked towards him and kneeled down.

Reo felt uncomfortable looking at him. Reo put his hand on Momo's head and patted him.

Reo: Momo...what happened?

Momo: ........

Reo: Today the cooks have made pork with green veggies. Aren't you hungry? Come inside and have something to eat...look at your friends...they are waiting for you too.

Reo saw Momo not responding to anything he was saying, so pinched both his cheeks as if he was a kid.

Momo looked at him finally.

Momo: Reo sensei....what are doing....I am not a kid...

Reo: But you are acting like one. Get up now and have your lunch.

Reo grabbed his hand and pulled him up. He told Haru and Tomoe to carry him to the hall to eat.

They carried him there, they passed by Kakashi on their way and Haru and Tomoe bowed at him. Momo didn't even look at his side and neither did he bow.
