Inside Nanami's room~

Nanami: I can't let papa be sad. I am going to look for Peru and bring him back if I can. It might be selfish of me, I know that he really wants to be an army or a cassiva but....what about papa? ..... argh..... I really don't know what I should do...but I can't give up.. I have to try to bring him back somehow or atleast know if he is really okay or not. I won't sit still.

The selection process for Army's and Cassiva's are being held on Emerald City... I have to get there somehow tomorrow. I will leave a letter telling papa I am going to look for Peru. That's it. I am just going to do that.

**Nanami wrote a letter telling Kato that she is leaving for Emerald City.... she will be looking out for Peru and try to convince him to come back. She wrote in her letter that she really loves him and he should take of himself and wait for her to come back soon.
She left the letter near Kato's bed, kissed his cheek.....and left that night itself.**

Peru's Pov

I know grandpa and Nana both must be worried about me, especially grandpa...he must be disappointed but I have to join the Army by hook or crook... I have to to find out the truth behind my mother's past.....well whatever... I am leaving this place anyhow. I am sorry grandpa, I am sorry nana, take care of him while I am gone. Goodbye....

The next morning~

Kato woke up a bit late and called Nanami.....

Kato: Nanami, get up and bring me a glass of water please.

While waiting for a response he looked at the small table besides him and saw a letter. His heart started beating faster... He quickly opened and read the letter as tears formed in his eyes.

Both of them were gone.

He was left alone again.

He couldn't believe it. They were really gone. He read the letter again and again and cried loudly but he quickly got up and started getting ready to go out to look for them again, his heart was restless, he couldn't let them be out alone, he needed to protect them....he put on his clothes and was about to open the door when at the same time...his door was knocked.....

Siko: Kato? Kato??? Are you there???

Kato hurriedly opened the door and saw Siko...he looked like he was drenched in his own sweat and just had pure fear in his eyes.

Kato: What happened Siko? What is wrong with you?

Siko: Kato, pack all of your belongings right now, we need to leave Sanatan as soon as possible. We will be under attack soon... I met Nanami on the way and she told me to leave right now......

Kato: What??? What are you talking about??? You saw Namami??? Where is she??? Why will we be under attack??

Siko: She is alright.... I saw her on the border of Emerald City.....I rode here as fast as I could in my horse... She told me, she heard some Armies say that there were spies sent out by King Lithor in Sanatan and they are going to attack soon. Lets leave righy now ok. Nanami told me she will be going to Emerald to look for Peru and that we should all vacate the city and head south.

Saying that he was about to turn when Kato grabbed his collar...

Kato: Why didn't you stop her and bring her back? She is just a kid Siko....

Siko: Listen to me Kato!....Emerald City is the safest place right now for her to be in....and I know you love her but right now we all need to hurry. You have to be strong and ALIVE for your grandchildren. They need you alive Kato. Now pack your things and lets leave. We need to tell the others about this too.

Kato was in a trance but he quickly nodded and replied...

Kato: Alright!

Siko was right, Kato thought. Nanami and Peru, they would be alright in Emerald City, it was the safest place right now since Emerald City was the place where all their Kingdom's Armies and Cassivas were trained and since it was the important city of the Kingdom, there were lookout towers everywhere and no one could dare attack the place. All he could do now was pray that both of them would be safe. Nanami was smart, she would do anything to survive and bring back her brother.

Kato packed his things and left with Siko's family to a nearby city riding in their horses after alerting the locals. Kato knew in his heart that he needed to be alive to go look for them once everything was over.

They soon heard the sound of sirens going off and Kato just breathed in deeply trying to control his emotions and his tears... promising himself to come back again and look for them....Kato and the rest of the people started riding the horses even faster as the siren went off...

Sanatan was really under attack...
