Chapter 10~ A New Day

5 a.m.... the next day......

Nanami just finished cleaning up the whole room. It was not a big room but there were just too many cob webs and  dust. The bathroom was stinking but she saw few cleaning supplies and with the help of them she wiped and scrubbed the bathtub and the floor neatly. She opened the little window and let the fresh air get in the room. Since she almost slept the whole day yesterday she wasn't tired as she thought she would be but she quickly thought she would nap before going down for breakfast. She just closed her eyes when she heard a knock on her door. She quickly opened the dòor and saw Reo outside her door. She got scared for a second, she remembered hugging him last night, what if he came to scold her? What if he was also a trainer like Master Samara, but then she looked at his hands and saw he had few clotheson one hand and other silupllies like toiletries and his other hand.

He reached out his hands to give it to her and she quickly grabbed the things.
Before Nanami could say thank you, he quickly said, Nanami, I am sorry.

Nanami was shocked.. why was he apologizing to her?

He continued, I was busy in arranging rooms yesterday but you skipped my mind. There are no rooms available in the 3rd floor as of now so you have to adjust and stay in this room for a while. I am really sorry for the inconvenience. Breakfast is at six so quickly get ready and come down now.

He turned around to leave when Nanami grabbed his sleeve and said, thank you master and I am really sorry about yesterday...you see...I am...

Reo, spoke, let go..... Nanami looked at her hands and let go of his sleeve immediately. He suddenly spoke in anger...Nanami you should know your place here. You are a student here so keep your hands to yourself, don't ever try to touch your teacher in such a manner again. Do you understand?

Nanami was startled to hear all this, since she didn't know how to address him she just grabbed his sleeve. She could feel tears forming at her eyes listening to his harsh words. She quickly bowed down and kept repeating I am sorry Sensei, it will never happen again.

Reo turned around again and walked downstairs. His hands already formed into a fist but he tried to calm himself and walked at a faster rate.

Nanami on the other hand was ashamed. She didn't know her actions would anger someone so much. She felt sorry towards him but she could do nothing at this point other than apologizing. She closed the door, washed her face and put the oversized white robe like dress. But suddenly her eyes got a little big in shock, waa she really wearing a white dress? Did she really have magical power? She don't remember much about what happened after she placed the leaves on the Armedic....she was happy for a second but then she quickly remembered what she actually came here for....to search for Peru.....she was not interested in being a Cassiva or not...she never had been....she use to hear about them from Peru all the time but she always felt that these people are were binded by  rules and these rules might be suffocating for them. Nanami wanted to live a care free live and roam around the world. She never wanted to be binded to anything or anyone. She thought, she would leave the place once she found Peru and wouldn't stay a minute longer.

She was lost in her thoughts when she heard the bell being struck.....ding ding 🔔🔔

She quickly closed the door and went downstairs. She had to hold her dress the entire time in order to not trip.....the dress was really long and big for her. Nanami saw students entering the dining room. The students stared at her and started laughing looking at her dress. She blushed but kept silent. Her eyes were wondering around the room looking for Peru, when she suddenly stepped into someone's feet. She looked up to see who it was and her heart sank...it was Reo....he stared down at her and was almost about to scold her again but Nanami quickly apologized and ran inside the dining room.
Master Samara saw her and stopped her, Nanami looked at her and found a little hope in her heart that she was saved but that little hope was also crushed a few seconds later.
