Chapter 14

Ahaha I finished this chapter earlier than expected so here you go ;)

Hanako:"Yo Tsuchigomori sensei!" He salutes.
Tsuchigomori blows a cloud of smoke into the air and eyes him.
Tsuchigomori:"You...it's gotten worse hasn't it?"
Hanako:"Well yeah." He smiles glumly.
Tsuchigomori:"Pardon me honourable no.7 but I really have to say, I don't agree with your placements or plans."
Hanako:"It's fine, I'm happy with them-mostly."
Tsuchigomori:"How are you able to look over them so confidently?"
Hanako:"Because, the outcome is for the best. I don't have any regrets either. On top of that Tsuchigomori sensei, you're the one I could put my trust in more than anyone else."
Tsuchigomori:"You're crazy."
Hanako:"I know but I thought you knew. I murdered my own brother after all. Isn't that enough of a confirmation?"
Tsuchigomori:"I guess you're right." He takes another smoke.
Tsuchigomori:"How are you coping with that? It must be hell right? It's amazing that you're able to cache it so well, at least when you're with them." He waves his pipe.
Hanako:"That again? You're about the third person to tell me this Tsuchigomori."
Tsuchigomori:"Am I?" He says in a monotone voice.
Hanako:"But you're wrong about that...especially recently which is expected but-"
He stops.
Tsuchigomori:"Freezing again huh? I told you already that you don't have to hide it in front of me when I've seen you at your worst already."

Hanako:"If I continue when it's this bad, it'll break loose-everything. And then my priestess and the shounen will find out. And they can't. For them to see something they aren't supposed to is my worst nightmare.
What will they think of me then? And considering I know those two well, they'd surely try to stop me but I won't let them. They can't know, at least until I can't hide it anymore otherwise it won't-"
He holds his head.

Tsuchigomori:"No.7 sama that's enough."

Hanako:"They're suspecting me already Tsuchigomori sensei. I have to try harder."

Tsuchigomori:"You're unbelievable..."

Hanako:"My brother said to me, that my facade was impressive but...he's wrong, it's not going to hold up much longer."

Tsuchigomori:...

Hanako:"He said that I'm cruel. And that if Yashiro were to fall for me, which is unbelievable in itself, I'd be even more cruel.
But he also said that Yashiro would be traumatised."

Tsuchigomori:"She'd be traumatised either way...unfortunately."

Hanako:"Yeah, you might be right but it'll only be for a short while." He smiles.

Tsuchigomori:"You are cruel."

Hanako:"Ah."

Tsuchigomori:"But for the wrong reasons."

Hanako:"What do you mean?"

Tsuchigomori:"Tch. This is exactly what I'm talking about. You're so clueless."

Yashiro leans on the broomstick.
Unfortunately, she couldn't concentrate on cleaning, not with the way Hanako kun was acting. At first glance, he appeared okay but she knew something was wrong. The only way to validate it was to observe him during this 'tanabata' festival he was oh so 'enthusiastic' about.
Kou:"Senpai? Are you worried?"
Kou puts his hand on her shoulder.
Yashiro:"I'm more confused than anything else."
Kou:"Uh...Hanako is Hanako, you know how he could be!" He smiles reassuringly.
Yashiro:"Mm." She hums, doubtfully.
Kou:"Senpai, let me clean up." He takes the broomstick from her grasp.
Yashiro:"Kou kun?"
Kou:"I suggest you go on a walk for some fresh air to clear your head out. I feel like you have a lot on your mind." He begins to sweep.
Yashiro:"But, are you sure?"
Kou:"Leave it to me!" He gives her a thumbs up.
Yashiro:"Thank you for always helping me Kou kun. I appreciate it."
Kou:"Oh, um yeah sure."
Yashiro:"I'll only go for about 10 minutes and I'll come back straight away."
Kou:"Take your time."
Yashiro:"Bye bye."

Yashiro strolled down the empty hallways, contemplating whether she should go to the garden to take her mind of things or the new girls bathroom to wash her face. Hanako kun is acting so strange.
But Kou said Hanako is Hanako.
