Hana woke up alone in the bed. She had recalled that she spent the night with Jaehyuk, but he was nowhere to be found.

Hana just remembered that she got upset over her test results. The fact that the possibility of her getting pregnant was so slim. She was only twenty three years old.  How could a twenty three year old deal with the news that she couldn't possibly be a mother in the future?

With good reason that she got drunk and landed herself in Jaehyuk's apartment. However, she had to be stupid that she got intoxicated and have slept alongside Jaehyuk.

Hana tried her best to avoid making any noise fearing Hyunjae had come home but found Jaehyuk in the kitchen.

Hana didn't expect that Jaehyuk would still be at his apartment. She heard that he was a workaholic and was rarely home from his younger brother Hyunjae.

Jaehyuk noticed Hana standing in front of him. He didn't say much but just gestured her to sit down and eat. He knew that she most likely didn't want to discuss the reason why she ended up being drunk at his doorstep.

Hana just thanked him for his hospitality and left without saying another word.

Jaehyuk didn't force Hana to discuss in the time she was at his apartment but he knew about it. She had been crying in her sleep about her miscarriage and asking why she couldn't have a baby. Jaehyuk didn't have to guess that hard. Hana most likely had been told that she couldn't have a child in the future or that the possibility was very low.

He knew how important family was to her and how much to was expecting to become a mother in the future. She was the middle child and the only female cousin in the immediate Kim family so she grew up being surrounded by children. He even remembered how she said that she wanted two children (one boy and one girl)  in the future as she didn't focus too much attention on only one of them. Right now, she needed someone to be there for her and he would try her best.

He would take his time in getting closer to Hana like in the past. After all they had an undeniable history with each other that would allow them to get closer to each other in a short amount of time.

And in the following months, they did.

Hana and Jaehyuk eventually grew comfortable with each other like they were in the past. Jaehyuk was there for her when she needed him and she almost helped him if she could. Their relationship was the same but different at the same time as when they were younger. Now, the both of them were much more mature and honest with each other. They both grew as a person compared to their younger selves.

This time Jaehyuk didn't hide any his feelings for her.

Instead he was very clear with her.

But he allowed her to go at her own pace.

"Hana, I have liked you since we were children. I know that you can't answer me right now but just know I'll continue to wait for you. I did it for more than ten years, so what's wrong with waiting a while longer. I can do that. I'll wait for you to give me a response whether you accept me or reject me, I will respect your decision."

Please note that this is a filler chapter as I didn't know exactly what to write in this chapter.

This chapter takes place in March, so the following chapters will occur in current time, unless stated differently.

And as for the results since it's not very clear, Hana received the news that it would be very difficult for her to have a child in the future. That's why she was upset.
