Recap:
"Hana, I have liked you since we were children. I know that you can't answer me right now but just know I'll continue to wait for you. I did it for more than ten years, so what's wrong with waiting a while longer. I can do that. I'll wait for you to give me a response whether you accept me or reject me, I will respect your decision."

Hana wasn't one to avoid someone's confessions and feelings but Jaehyuk had expressed his feelings towards her in such a business-like way.
She couldn't refute his statement in any way without possibly rejecting or accepting him.
She had just learned that he had like her since they were children back in New York. He had waited over ten years for her to reciprocate those feelings. The one thing she liked was that he stated that he was going to respect any decision she made in response to his confession.
For the past three months, Jaehyuk and her have gotten closer compared to their childhood. After all, they couldn't really have developed their friendship as Hana left New York when she was merely eleven years old and Jaehyuk was close to graduating from high school at the young age of thirteen.
Choi Jaehyuk was a family friend as their families had ties together since their grandfathers were good friends and served in the army together.
When her grandfather immigrated to America and became an American, Jaehyuk's grandfather also followed him. That's why the two families were more Americanized than Korean. It made sense that the two families were extremely close.
Hana thought real hard about how to response to him.
Was she going to reject him?
Or was she going to accept him and start dating?
All she thought was about the media. If news about her dating after six months after her divorce, her relationship would be labeled and viewed as an affair. That's what the public would think since Chanyeol and her were very public about their marriage but yet so secretive about their divorce.
She didn't want that label on someone she would love.
"Jaehyuk, you realized that I only got divorced in December 2019 and that's how the public sees it. They don't know that we were separated months before our divorce. There's a possibility that if we do end up dating and our relationship gets revealed, the public may label our relationship was an affair."
Jaehyuk didn't have any chance in emotions. He had thought out very possible scenarios that Hana could worry about. He could care less about the media and what the public thought, all that mattered was their feelings about each other.
He had shown her over the past three months that he only cared about her. Despite him being occupied with his own company, he still took the time to join Hana with dinner if possible. Jaehyuk had been more involved in her life than his own brother's. Jaehyuk had even helped Dylan with his troubles.
He made it very clear about his feelings that her family had all grown fond of him. Especially her father and grandfather.
"Why should I care about what others think? I only care about my family and you. Besides I'm at a place where no ordinary person can touch me or my loved ones."
Hana slightly felt reassured. After all, she did like Jaehyuk but didn't dare to confess because of her fear.
"As long as I'm by your side, no one will be able to harm you in anyway. They'll have to go through me first."
"Jaehyuk......I also like you but you must know that I can't reveal our relationship."
"Then let's date, I could care less if you reveal our relationship or not. It's your choice. You must know that I only date with marriage in mind. Cause I can see myself marrying you, but for the time being, let's date peacefully and focus on that."
"Alright. Let's just focus on us."
Jaehyuk and Hana
May 2020Yes Hana accepted Jaehyuk's confession. Honestly I think they're a good match, probably the best one out of all her relationships.
This chapter may be crappy but please accept it.
