For all of those who know. Hana debuted in 2012 as a soloist under JYP Entertainment. It was said she was apart of the MissA lineup but was removed by JYP personally and she remained a trainee until her debut on the same day as JJ Project (GOT7's JB & Jinyoung).
However right after her debut as a soloist, Hana started filming dramas and doing photoshoots. She did work as an actress and model for the two years following her debut. She didn't have a comeback within those two years.

During this time, Hana was reported to have fainted on multiple occasions on set. However these reports were never confirmed or denied, simply brushed aside.
Hana would make her comeback in 2015 with no exposure as an idol despite being an idol in her third year.
It's said that this is the year when Hana had gotten a new manager (who is her current one at BigHit). Apparently Hana and her manager both pushed for her comeback as an idol despite the company being against it.
After some pushing from the two, Hana was allowed to make a comeback however she wasn't allowed to produce any song for her album.
This continued on until late 2017, when she released her fourth mini album.
In a way, it can be said that JYP valued Hana more as an actress rather an idol. After all, she only released five mini albums and one full album during her seven years at JYP Entertainment.
Besides her career as an idol, Hana had a period where she was caught in many scandals.
From the revelation of her past relationship with Winner's Mino to Dispatch revealing her relationship with Chanyeol.
Hana received a lot of hate during that time. It was also revealed during that time that her close friend/manager had left from JYP Entertainment because of some circumstances.
Even when JYP revealed her marriage, Hana kept a low profile while JYP announced her marriage to SM's Chanyeol.
Until Hana's car crash in October, did fans start to notice that Hana wasn't on good terms with JYP Entertainment. It was also when she wasn't wearing her engagement ring as well.
