At age seventeen,
"Dammit, Kenni!" Hannah screamed into her phone, furious at the way her sister was acting. Hannah was low. Low on everything she needed. Cigarettes, money, and whatever kind of drug her sister brought her a mere two nights ago.
"I'm trying!" Kenni said back before hanging up the phone.
Hannah ruffled through her now short hair and stood up straighter as her sister came from the small shop in front of her.
Hannah thought she was always going to be stuck with her sister Rebecca. She thought she'd have to follow her all her life just to be able to calm down.
That was long gone, and Hannah couldn't stand Rebecca anymore.
"Kenni coming by later?" Rebecca asked, trying not to wrinkle her nose and the sound of her sister's name.
Hannah almost didn't answer but, she soon muttered a "Maybe."

"I need to run in a here real quick." Rebecca said, stopping in front of another small business.
"I'm going to go home." Hannah replied.
"You can't!" Rebecca shouted, running back outside to stop her sister. Her mother had specifically told her not to lose Hannah.
Hannah started shouting at her sister about how she could do whatever she wanted. Rebecca ended up running back to her sister, protesting the whole way.
Hannah was done. She didn't want to fight. She shoved her sister and sent her into the street.
Rebecca screamed as a sedan stopped a foot from her.
Hannah Cohen wasn't like most seniors. She was testing many drugs, she couldn't hold a steady relationship with anyone but Kenni, and she wouldn't be upset if the sedan didn't stop.
