With Josh no day is truly monotonous. Even if you are just staying home, he always wants to try something new or attempt to make something he's never made before.
He's very creative so he usually spends his lazy days creatively.
Whether it's making a necklace for you or trying to learn how to macrame or even just reading a really good book he just found, then telling you all about it.
But what he likes doing is different than what he actually needs to do. He wants to write poetry all day, but needs to water his plants. So Josh will set little goals and deadlines to make sure they get done. For instance, goals like "make sure I clean out my closet by next month," or "finally deep clean the kitchen because it will make my girlfriend really happy."

"Josh," you sighed, laying on the couch as the smell of burning firewood surrounded you, "I'm officially bored."
You heard some shuffling in the kitchen, a metallic clang, and a cabinet open. Josh was attempting to reorganize the kitchen, something he had put off for months.
"So soon?" He responded, heaving a little as he lifted a stack of cast iron pans, setting them on the counter.
"It's been 5 hours, Josh." You blandly replied, now sitting upright. You were gazing into the flames in the fireplace as they licked the air.
"Well, you could always help me." He smiled, peeking around the corner into the living room.
"Oh god," you sighed, "Joshua you sound like my mother."
He giggled as he retreated back into the kitchen.
You thought maybe you could at least make sure he's doing it right.
Upon entering, you were definitely sure now that Jake must have gotten the cleanliness gene.
"Josh, it looks like a bomb went off in here!", You smiled incredulously.
He turned to face you, a look of embarrassment and "dear god please help me" upon his face.
"Maybe I need a little help?" He tilted his head at you as you observed the array of pots, pans, and utensils scattered across the floor.
"Fine..." You rolled your eyes with a half smile, "as long as I get to kiss you whenever I want for the rest of my life."
"That can be arranged," he smiled, wrapping his arms around you and softly pressing his lips against yours.

Jake naturally loves lazy days. He says with the constant moving during touring is draining, so he lives just being able to be at home with you all day. It usually is because he's able to kiss you and... um... do other things... whenever he wants. Lazy days usually end in sex with Jake (honestly everything ends in sex with Jake...) Something about seeing you in your sweats and no makeup, doing laundry or dishes, or even just watching TV really turns him on. You think it's because he never gets to just be alone with you due to the band and everything. He likes seeing you at your most relaxed- it makes him relaxed too.
