Hinata spent his whole day at home. Doing what? Kuroo didn't know.

He would answer his calls, his texts but when he was asked what he was up to, Hinata just replied with an eye emoji.

"👀"

Kuroo really wanted to go over but he's hanging out with his friends today. He's not usually one to make promises, he hates making promises. It makes him feel like he's forced to do something.

Another reason why he hates it is because he's terrible at keeping his promises.

"Kuroo."

Kuroo looked away from his phone. He met eyes with Kenma who seemed worried about him.

"Are you okay?" He asked, concerned.

"I'm fine! Where we're going?" Kuroo shoved his phone into his pocket and plastered a smile on his face. He then snaked his arm around Inuoka and Yaku. They then walked around, just chatting and having fun.

Kuroo looked at Kenma who stared at his phone with a bitter expression. He looked... rather sad.

"Oi, Kenma."

Kenma flinched.

That's a first. Kenma never flinches when his name is being called. There's definitely something wrong.

"Is there something bothering you?" He closed in on Kenma. "Who're you chatting with?"

Kenma quickly turned off his phone when he saw Kuroo being too near. Kuroo noticed that and smirked.

"Eyy... Is my buddy Kenma seeing someone?" Kuroo teased.

Kenma didn't answer at all. He just glared at Kuroo and walked away. Kuroo shrugged.

Typical Kenma.

"Typical Shoyo." Nishinoya grinned.

"Shut up!"

Hinata was struggling. He was all cooped up at home making tomo-chocos for the girls that gave him chocolates during Valentines since tomorrow is White Day. Nishinoya helped him but it wasn't enough help so he called Sugawara to come over and help.

The tomo-chocos were all done, but he was thinking about what to do for Kuroo.

He had thought about maybe giving him a plushie, but that wasn't a Kuroo thing at all. He thought about giving him a hoodie, but he thinks that it was too simple. So he settled in baking since it was his specialty after all.

But what was he gonna bake?

"Maybe... a cake?" Sugawara suggested.

"That's so simple." Hinata shook his had and rejected the suggestion.

"I got an idea!" Nishinoya suddenly beamed. "How about heart shaped chocolates, with a filling?"

Hinata thought about it for a while. It could work. But he didn't want to hassle too much. Instead of filling, he just made brown coloured chocolate, cut up a heart shaped hole in the middle and filled in the hole with pink coloured chocolates.

It was a success.

He then texted Kuroo to come over the cafe tomorrow after his shift at the zoo is done. Kuroo instantly texted back after he sent the message.

From Tetsurou♡️:
I'll come over early✨❤️

Hinata smiled.

He started to clean up the messy kitchen and plopped on the couch, resting his sore muscles. He then stared at the ring in his hands and smiled.
