Let me just make this clear I wasn't born In Colombia I was born in the USA but I get Colombian blood because of my Dad. I'm Mexican/Colombian to be honest. But I don't know if any of you have ever felt like I do. Where you feel a certain connection with something,a connection so strong you know you just have to have something to do with it. Well I have that Connection with Colombia.
I bet most of you are asking,have you even been there and the answer to that is yes. I go almost every year in the Summer to visit family and friends. Every year we do something different after our traditional visits.
It's just so..me. The Huge Mountains surrounding the people in the area,the smell of food and gas surprisingly makes me happy. And the sound of laughter and music everywhere sinking into my ears it's truly magical to me. And the house that we always stay at has a large balcony where I always go when I need to think it's awesome,it shows the whole town and has a perfect view of the mountains. The wind blows beautifully there.
I promise my besties I would take them there with me once I turn 22 (I don't remember why I choose that age so Yeah) and even me being 13 I know they'll love it. That little country really has such a big part of me and so many happy memories that I need every once in a while.
