The water level had gotten up to less than a meter from the ceiling. Out of panic, she started to struggle. She found it hard to breathe even though she was doing just fine a second ago. However, uncaring of her condition, the seconds still went down. Which meant that the boss is also capable of producing water.

She looked at the rewards and cursed the system. The previous quests had 'Player Status Recovery' as a reward, but the words she desperately wanted to see wasn't present in the current quest reward list.

Her mana was running low. She only had 60 left.

Grenn was not an aquatic monster. Even as a shadow, drowning could kill the ogre. Before Grenn drained her mana even more, she moved him back to the Arsenal.

Right after Grenn's departure, an enraged scream entered Aria's ears. She tiredly looked at her opponent, swearing that this would be the last opponent for the day.

Aria assured herself that everything would be alright.

However, the creature that entered her eyes severely diminished her hope.

Undine. A high-ranked B monster. Aria thought she was doomed.

The difference between a low-ranked and a high-ranked B monster was astronomical. 

The trident-holding sea nymph had a human upper body, but her lower body was combined with the water. Only after leaving water would her lower body show, although it was an uncommon occurrence that an Undine would leave the waters.

The next second, the Undine had disappeared.

Her heartbeat increased as she prepared herself for the incoming attack. This was Undine's specialty. She could merge with the waters and launch a surprise attack, under the premise that the water level was high enough.

Stab!

The Undine's trident suddenly appeared and stabbed her foot.

Bang!

A second strike. Luckily, she had raised her agility and was able to block in time. The Undine disappeared once again.

Aria cursed in her heart.

She cast Shadow Bind to test the waters. Shadows started forming around Undine, wanting to wrap around her. However, her spell was intercepted by Undine's trident.

There must be something I can use.. She called her inventory and took a look.

One thing caught her eye.

<Pure Crystal Water>.

She thought back to the mission reward. The <Craft> feature. It was as if the System was preparing her to make the item.

Use the scroll.

No response.
