12 - Speedrunning the Floors (3)

"No! You aren't supposed to get up yet!!" The young boy panicked as he looked at the blood seeping out of Aria's stomach.

"W-who are you?" Aria backed away from the boy. She then looked around and realized.

She was in a completely different area. She was in a small room that looked far behind her times. Not to mention, Leon's attire further confirmed the timeline. He wore clothes akin to the medieval era. 

Everything was brown. The walls, the floors, the furniture, the bed, even the blanket she was using was brown, only in different shades.

Is this part of the tower? 

"I'm Leo. I found you in front of the village's playground. I was the only kid there, so I had to call my sister... Oh yeah! Wait a minute, I'll get my sis!" The boy ran out of the room. Shouts could be heard soon after.

Leo came back after a short while. A young woman was now beside him.

"You... have woken up," The woman's voice was gentle. She let out a startled yelp when she saw that Aria's wounds had opened up once again.

She immediately rushed to tend to Aria's wounds as she opened a wooden box and took bandages and ointments out of it.

"No, I have-" Aria instinctively maneuvered her hands to take out a health potion, but stopped after she realized she was reaching out to nothing.

Nothing. Not even a [Feature unavailable] notice. Her stats weren't even visible.

Aria's face turned white as she couldn't summon her weapon out.

This...

"Are you shy? You don't need to be!" the woman laid Aria down on the bed and told her to relax before starting to unwrap the bandages.

Aria gave up and let her wounds be tended to. She didn't sense any ill intent from the siblings.

Between the treatment, she found out that the woman's name was Eliza. When Aria asked for a last name, they looked at her weirdly and started laughing. Apparently, only nobles and royalties have a last name. They were just villagers and couldn't even dream of getting a last name.

Aria almost went crazy after searching for a way to return or at least get any sort of connection with the system for weeks to no avail.

The only thing holding her conscience up was the fact that she could've sworn that the 'village playground' Leon was talking about was the last scene she saw before passing out inside the tower.

Which meant that her arrival here must've been because of the system one way or another, no?

Aria decided to live her life normally. However, the arrival of a certain man shocked her to death.

A brown haired young man visited their house.

Aria was sure that she wasn't mistaken.

The uniform he was wearing was the exact uniform the Knight she faced wore.

His name was Raon.

Turns out, he was Eliza's sworn knight. In that case, Eliza would be his master.

At first, Raon was cold and wary of Aria, especially after he learned that Leon had found her in a half-dead state.

However, after getting to know each other and sparring at times, he soon came to the conclusion that Aria was somehow a slave of the nobility who was trained as a servant-guard since childhood.
