it wasn't surprising to find a crowd gather round the commotion, what was surprising was that there was even a commotion in the first place. aren't canadian people on of the friendliest people on the planet?

that's the only way the scorpion trio was able to find them so quickly, there was a glass bridge that linked the two sides of the mall, and on that bridge was sebastian raging at a mortal who seemed quite determined not to go down without a fight. the greed sin had his fists clenched so tightly his knuckles started to lose its colour and become white.

before making his move, percy decided to stand with the crowd to observe the argument to find out what the problem was. he pushed past people in a hurry, muttering a quick apology to everyone he passed by.

he deadpanned when he saw who sebastian had been verbally brawling with, it was one of his old classmates from yancy academy who went by the name of jack bradfield. it was honestly no surprise that jack had gotten into a fight with sebastian, who was also trying to learn how to control his sharp tongue.

"you touched my girl without permission, you big oaf!" jack yelled furiously, pointing his finger accusingly at sebastian who looked like his fuse was about to blow.

"you should be grateful i even tried to save her from falling, bitch! what would she have done without me? fallen probably, because you couldn't get off your fat ass to help your girl!" the greed sin yelled hotly as he shoved jack away from him, making the mortal land on his ass and turn over as he kissed the floor. the greed sin smouldered with resentment as he felt a the thrumming adrenaline pumping in his veins.

"look what you've done to him, you fucker! he's on the floor because of you." a high-pitched shrilly voice screeched as they ran over to help the mortal off his spot on the floor. sebastian's eyes darkened as he sneered at the girl that had just insulted him. percy recognised her as nancy bobofit, the nasty looking girl that made fun of him for having 'disabilities'.

"you should be grateful i saved you, you slut. you should be on your knees, sucking my dick because without me your head would've been smashed in on the mall floor. i will personally bash your head into this glass wall if you utter another word, but i guess i could forgive you if you sucked me off." the blue headed athlete said smugly as he gestured to his pants suggestively, his jaw baring as he sneered. "how bout it, bitch?"

"sebastian." percy called darkly as a flash of irritation took over his previously calm facial expression. his eyes flaring with a dangerous glint as the red in his eyes became more prominent, the anger in his chest growing like a tumour. sebastian visibly gulped and straightened his posture, eyes widening minutely at his own behaviour.

"percy." he greeted politely. sebastian was now beginning to see what kind of ruckus they had caused as he collected his thrumming anger, taking a deep breath to control himself just as percy had taught him as he scanned the crowd. the wrath sin moved his gaze to the girl in the red dress. his glare sucked something out of nancy, she visibly wilted before he had even addressed her. his usually perpetually soft eyes where as hard as any store front mannequin as he stared into her soul with an obvious murder intent.

"i suggest you get off the floor you just kissed, jack bradfield, and get on your knees to thank him for not bashing your head in the floor when he had the chance." percy ordered in a compendious manner, not taking his eyes off of his childhood bully. jack, however, did not do that and instead fled from the scene.

"percy jackson." nancy muttered under her breath as he continued to suck the arrogance out of her. her cocky body language seemed to wither away as her shoulders fell forward in defeat when she realised she was no match for his anger. luke's eyes widened as they darted between percy and the girl on the floor, shivering at the cold look the ravenette had in his usually warm eyes.

"nancy bobofit, you better think before you ever insult your saviour again. did you ever stop to think that you would not be here, at this moment, sitting in fear if it wasn't for him?" percy said in a low tone, one that clearly got a message through to the girl who cowered at his glare. "i'm waiting for that apology, bobofit."

nancy quickly got on her feet and tried to stand in defiance, refusing to thank sebastian for saving her life. "not going to happen, jackson. i'm not going to follow anyone's orders, especially not from you."

"then maybe you'll take it from someone who can fire your dad," percy said as his eyes gleamed with a ruthless look as he saw nancy deflate. "i have friends in very high places, bobofit. what do you think would happen if i called one of them and asked for a certain mr. bobofit to be fired for fraud? i will tell you one thing." he said sweetly at the end, but it didn't reach his eyes. he walked closer to nancy and leaned down and whispered in her ear. "if you ever deny respect to one of my kin or challenge them, i will make sure that your daddy's job isn't the only thing that'll end."
