A sigh escaped Perseus' mouth as he rolled out of bed, laying down on the carpet floor. He slept in his new master bedroom, filled to the brim with ocean related colours and objects. Perseus hadn't seen the ocean for about three months, since time went by quicker in Tartarus than it did in the overworld. He yearned for its comfort, for its reassurance that he had always felt whenever he needed it. It always calmed him, the soft ripples that echoed across the local park pond near his appartment, the gentle fish that popped up every once in a while to say hello. When he was in the overworld, even if he was in the middle of the city, Perseus could still solidify the water vapour in the air to help him calm down. It wasn't the most reliable source of comfort, but it was there when he needed it.

Tartarus' air was dry, so dry that it gave demigods blisters and rashes on their arms and faces whenever they breathed in the horrid air. There was no water vapour at all, so Perseus' one source of comfort was gone.

Maybe he should IM his dad? It had been a while since they spoke and Perseus wondered if he was worried at all. Maybe it would help him deal with these changes if he talked to someone other than the Sins, someone would could at least try to understand him. He could talk to his Mom but she wouldn't understand.

He sighed as he got up, practically dragging his feet across the floor to his wardrobe. Could they start training today? These ridiculous, blunt instructions from the Fates were starting to piss him off. If they wanted to control their powers, they would do so without the Fates' nonsense. It was their fault the Sins were in this situation in the first place. Everyone else would be sitting happily in Elysium, or for Luke, he would be living a life free of this curse of being a demigod. Then again, the thought of losing Luke again made Perseus feel sick to his stomach.

He got dressed in a tight black jumpsuit and threw a combat coat over it, tightening the belt at his waist. He slid into some combat boots and strapped the side buckles. Perseus walked out with his inner waters streaming violently through his chest, almost like a blazing fire inside him. The ocean was known to be violent and unpredictable. If he had to be the Wrath Sin, he'd do it his own way.

"As you all have realised, we are going through some physical and emotional changes. In the midst of these situations, we will attempt to master these so-called powers we received from the Fates. Does anyone have an idea of what these could be?" Perseus asked his Sin- no, his friends

Maya put her hand up, her eyes sparkling wildly. "I do! I was really pissed off the other day and I walked outside to try to fight some monsters lurking within the area and I released this big wave of energy with a flick of my hand that killed the monsters and sent their corpses flying into the River of Cocytus."

Perseus nodded. "So Maya has unlocked her strength attribute. Can we reference from any mortal comics or TV shows that might have been based off the Seven Deadly Sins concept for ideas?"

This time Leonardo put his hand up stiffly. The Wrath Sin nodded. "When I was a boy, I used to read the DC Comics. They mentioned a band of misfits named 'The Seven Enemies of Man' who were the demon embodiments of the human Seven Deadly Sins. They could embody humankind's sin and feed off of the negative emotions in the world." Strangely, none of the Sins felt any kind of morality stand in their way of accepting that they were, in fact, the deity embodiments of Sin. Perseus felt like crying, except he just nodded. All of those years rejecting any kind of evil so he wouldn't fall into a pit of darkness during the Titan War was for nothing, all of that pressure to be the perfect saviour was for nothing because here he was, becoming the personification of anger. He was mad, because he let himself down.

Was this how the gods felt when their Greek and Roman personas were fighting?

"Okay," The son of Poseidon acknowledged as he paced back and forth in front of a blackboard that had appeared behind him. He pointed at the blackboard with a finger and his eyes glowed gold as the pictures in his head laid themselves out in chalk on the blackboard:

Ideas:

‣ Able to transform into the demon embodiment of our respective Sins.

"We can also use thoughtography, the ability to portray our thoughts onto mediums." Caleb smirked devilishly at the thought of this.

Luke put his hand up. "This guy called Azmodan, the Lord of Sin in the Diablo Series can 'manipulate sin' which means that he can like encourage someone to sin, like become angry, prideful, resentful, envious etc. Maybe if we have that we can cause fights and manipulate situations to go our way and feed off of it." Perseus nodded and added it onto the list.

"I think we might also have the ability called, 'Sin Empowerment' since we have gained abilities that surpass the average demigods'. Sin Empowerment is the ability to draw power from mortal sin, like Luke suggested, and use it to our advantage. Known uses of this power include to boost your other abilities, to stop aging, to help unlock other related powers and to enhance physical attributes." Leonardo suggested, pushing his glasses up his nose.

Perseus pondered over this. "Do you think we stop aging once we master these newfound powers? Since we can't control them now, we cannot stop our aging." Immortality was one of the things Perseus never wanted because he would have to watch all of his friends die, one after the other. Now, since the other Sins would have immortality, maybe that wasn't such a bad thing anymore.

"Yeah, probably." Sebastian chimed in, a gleeful smile on his face, mirroring the wild look in Maya's eyes. Immortality was his goal before he died, and now that he had it he could finally do whatever he wanted. "You think we can change our appearances too? Maybe the faces of human sinners."

"Excellent idea." The son of Poseidon congratulated as he jotted it down on the blackboard. "We'll concentrate on shared powers first then once we've mastered them, we'll move onto individual aspects. Is that alright?"

Luke smiled proudly at him, Perseus had improved so much since the Titan War and it made him feel fuzzy inside. "Yes, sir."

Ideas:

‣ Able to transform into the demon embodiment of our respective Sins.

‣ Thoughtography

‣ Manipulate Sin - encourage or discourage, increase or decrease rates, influence actions

‣ Sin Empowerment - to manipulate the energy of sin and raw power from it, to stop aging, to increase physical attributes

‣ Metamorphosis - the ability to change appearances, only limited to sinner appearances
